Went down there the other day and had a chat with an employee named Jad, some of the best customer support I have had in a long time. The generator I purchased was just as good!

Bought a 42 cfm able compressor from gumtree but after a while i needed a new engine,The staff at Able sales not only selling me a new engine they showed me and gave me technical details on how to do things along with right oils etc,friendly staff and passionate in helping the end user ,Gr8 stuff guys special thanks to Nick for being so understanding towards my needs and questions .

I purchased a 7 kVA MAX 8 kVA GENERATOR PETROL RATED 240V TRADE SPEC a couple of months ago I am using it to build my house. I have used it over 100 hours now. It has proven reliable and seems to be robust.It was good value and seems as well built as other brands that cost nearly twice as much.The communication with Able Sales has been good and the item was shipped fast.All in all very happy with this purchase.

What a place to buy a generator from. The customer service form Jad was amazing. The generator i bought was worth every cent. He was able to answer every question i had and was able to provide me with a good quality product that will last a long time

Terrible customer service ! I Called yesterday at 4pm letting the staff know I would like to call past Coolaroo and would be there just before 5. I arrived at 4:53 and 3 x staff were leaving quicker than a lighting bolt and the front door was already locked. The warehouse was wide open so I went around. Not long after waiting at the warehouse a staff member walked down and opened the conversation with “we’re shut”. I stated I was just there to get some quick info on a 185 cfm screw compressor and would then be happy to purchase. The reply was once again “we’re shut’’ so I left. This is really your loss Able, as I would have been more than happy to purchase then and there. It has also made me look elsewhere to purchase something similar as this was not a pleasant experience. A bit of friendly customer service goes a long way guys!

I'm going to start with the good, I bought a DC12500E3 13 KVA 3 phase generator, it looked and felt very well built, everything feels solid, if the machine was as advertised it would be a great piece of equipment.However that is only true if the generator was the same as the one advertised.This model is advertised as an 11 kilowatt continuous output 3 phase generator outputting 18 amps per phase, which works out to be incorrect, 18 amps times by 1.73 for the interaction of 3 phase power x 415 volt is actually 12'900 watt, if the 11kw claim is accurate that would be 15.3 amps per phase, if i'd done the math on this first it might have been a red flag.I bought one after calling and speaking with Martin at the Coolaroo warehouse about my application (running a welding machine drawing 10 kilowatt maximum) and was advised by Martin that this would suit my application.Once I received the generator I tested it with said welding machine only to discover that I could only draw around 6 kilowatts of 3 phase power from it, it turns out that this is not an 11 kilowatt 3 phase generator, it delivers 5 kilowatt of single phase and 6 kilowatts of 3 phase which I confirmed by load testing both the 3 phase and single phase at the same time, I could draw 11.1 KW in total, 6.2 KW 3 phase and 4.9 KW single phase, obviously this doesn't work for my application but it could still be useful for some applications, but this is not advertised as a 6kw 3 phase and 5 kw single phase generator, it is advertised as an 11kw 3 phase generator.The customer service however is horrible, once I discovered the issue with this unit for my application I called Martin back, explained the problem and that I wanted to return it and was met with a No we will not be refunding you for this

I own the 7500i petrol generator. This is my second purchase through able and just recently I had to make my first warranty claim.First and foremost I am extremely happy with both products purchased - they perform as advertised and have not had any issues with either item until recently…When making the warranty claim; the response I received from their team (Nick) was veryproactive, supportive and helpful which ensured my issue with the generator was resolved as promptly as possible. He organised overnight freight and found a local depot that I could drop the generator off to have fixed.I could not compliment him or the company any more highly - he even followed up after the repair was complete to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome.I truly believe this is a great quality competitively priced product - backed up by fantastic customer support. Nothing more I could ask for.Highly recommend!

Dealt with Jad last week and was the best customer experience i have had in years, top bloke 100% shop through him again. and the generater was just as good as promised
