Super disappointed with the Vegemite scroll. Expensive and white paper like bread. Virtually no Vegemite or cheese. It's not even nice white bread.

Bakers Delight Prahran
Disappointed yet again with the Hi Fibre Low Gi I recently purchased. The white loaf of bread was literally super white, not a hint of a beige on the outer crust. It was like it was under baked, soggy and so much so that I couldn’t really spread any margarine or butter to make a sandwich without the bread tearing. Ruined just a simple sandwich and I ended up feeding the bread to the birds.Usually I find Bakers Delight in general great for a quick loaf of bread but not on this occasion.

The free hot cross buns you get when you spend over $50 in prahran central were STALE. I showed the girl there how the top of the bun literally CRACKED as I was handed them. The server insisted they were just crispy" - didn't even offer an alternative. YUCK. Girl have you ever had a hot cross bun before - soft and fluffy. No thanks."

Most of the staff are absolutely lovely, and speaking to them definitely makes for an enjoyable groceries trip!They usually do the most amazing Turkish Bread that is quite frankly the best I have ever had. Whenever I take it to parties everyone raves about it!I'm giving 3 stars because in the past few weeks when we have purchased it (about three times on separate days), it has been flat and dense. The inside is very undercooked. You can see this without cutting it open by checking if there is a crack at the bottom of the loaf, the undercooked dough can be seen and felt inside.I'm really sad to be giving 3 stars, because besides this undercooked Turkish bread it would otherwise be 6 stars.I hope this is improved in the future. In the meantime I can't keep purchasing undercooked Turkish bread.

Bakers Delight Prahran
Bakers Delight (Prahran) is a terrific bakery. All the staff including the owner are always most helpful and cheerful when I have shopped there. The service is second to none, not to mention the delicious array of breads and treats. I definitely recommend this bakery if you’re ever in the area.

Worst customer service ever. You can be polite when you give an answer. Go to another shop or to Bakery Blue that's just across the road.

Bakers Delight Prahran
After venturing out in my 5km radius, just wanting a change of scenery, I popped into Prahran bakery today and was served by the lovely Natalie. She was just delightful. It was nice to see someone wanting to be at work, making conversation and giving you a real smile under that mask. I work in customer service as well and I know how hard it can be to stay positive during these times. It really doesn’t take a lot to just be kind. Thank you Natalie for your wonderful service and I’ll see you next time :)
