Four4ty Recording Studios

My band recorded a full length album with Jarred at the Four4ty Studio, from the word go Jarred has helped us feel beyond comfortable whilst also helping us push our boundaries. His ability to to ensure that every sound works cohesively on a track is something you’d find on the music of the biggest artists in the world. His professionalism is matched with the great vibe he produces in the studio makes it an incredibly fun and relaxing experience!Towards the end of the album, Jarred’s ability to mix the tracks to where we wanted them was stellar! Every time that we had a small change to make, he did not hesitate to try it out immediately!It was an absolute pleasure for us to work with Jarred and at his studio, we couldn’t be more grateful for this experience!

I recorded my first book, 'I Am Enough', for audible at Four4ty Recording Studios last week. Jarred made me feel so comfortable straight away. I've just recorded my debut full-length solo album 'Winter Coat' with Jarred and can't speak highly of the recording experience at four4ty studios.The set up is everything I was looking for in a studio - relaxed, homely vibe; great gear and sound equipment; Jarred is extremely easy to work with and a highly skilled engineer with a fantastic production ear; very, very reasonably priced and, importantly, a polished and smooth recorded product at the end.From the start, I had every confidence that my songs were going to be respected and were in very safe musical hands with Jarred. When putting time, energy and money into recording, this confidence and assurance is vital.Jarred 'gets' the importance of taking great care with production and recording, but is able to balance this with keeping momentum going and working at a good pace, which is important when you're budget-conscious like I was. We had also had a lot of fun in the studio, lots of laughs that contributed to a really relaxed mood that shows up in the recordings I think.Jarred is a producer and engineer with a knack for interesting sonic ideas and has a wide-ranging musical knowledge. As a multi-instrumentalist, Jarred generously contributed to the recording sessions (guitar, piano, bass, drums) as part of his fixed rate, saving me a lot of money in session musicians (much appreciated!).I have since been back to do some one-off recordings and I've had no hesitation at all in working with Jarred, and will do so again in the future.As a engineer, producer and musician, I would highly recommend Jarred @ four4ty studios.

After spending some time looking for a studio to record an EP, I was so glad that we found Jarred at Four4ty. Not only does he have a great setup, Jarred is super professional and amazingly talented. He was able to take our very raw songs to a place we never even dreamed. Jarred happily played all of the instrumental parts that we couldn't, including laying down the drum tracks as well as writing the parts for a cellist that he brought in. If you are a singer/songwriter or small band looking to record, I couldn't recommend Four4ty any higher!

I have been recording at Four4ty recording studio now for the past 3 years and it is by the far the best recording studio I have ever recorded at. What makes Four4ty recording studio shine is Jarred the owner, producer and audio engineer. I am a singer songwriter and Jarred is an awesome arranger, multi instrumentalist and producer who really helps my songs come to life with amazing production. Jarred is always more than happy to play all guitars on my tracks and always offers great production ideas and techniques. Jarred has a really friendly nature and is great fun to work with. I am at present recording a new EP at Four4ty recording studio with Jarred and could not be happier with the sound and vibe.
