Good size meals, very busy for a Wed night so that's always a good sign. Limited beers on tap, great snooker area & kids play area, bathrooms dated but clean.

Well appointed, spacious and clean little cabin which was perfect for our purposes. Great service from the manager too, contacting us when we were running late to say he would leave a light on for us and the key in a secure lock box.

Steve was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. The room was very welcoming and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. A great place to stay if you are planning on visiting K’gari Island or surrounding areas.

Don't park in the back car park avoid it, our car got smashed into and person drove off. No security or security cameras.No longer feel safe, Don't believe any care was given either after notification

Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel
Perfect 3 star-styled motel in a great location at Tin Can Bay. We stayed a single night so we could feed the local dolphins before heading over to Fraser Island & the staff were lovely, good clean amenities with plenty of room inside to prep meals etc. We had a group of 3 families & there was plenty of outdoor grassy areas for the kids to run around & play in. The owner even let us park undercover & charge our fridges overnight which was fantastic as we didn’t have to haul them out into the rooms. Would stay here again!

Lovely garden setting with cabin style rooms. Mine was a duplex, with one adjoining unit. Quite roomy inside. Bathroom had a skylight. You can borrow an electric frypan or small cooktop if you want to cook you meals. Comfy outdoor seating, nice and cool in the evenings but watch out for the midges.
