Borsch, Vodka & Tears is a great place to try eastern european food and vodka. Everything on the menu is good, but the mushrooms in the Zakuski dish are the best. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for a new spot to add to your rotation, Borsch, Vodka & Tears is definitely worth checking out.

Great food all around - lamb croquettes, fried chicken, pierogis and blintzes; and an impressive drinks list that caters to even non-alcoholics. I took one star off as it is impossible to have a conversation in there and there is a time limit (1 hour 45 mins) they set between sitting down before being ushered out. There is also a lack of dessert items on the menu probably because of the last point, but worth noting.

The food here was so filling and such a comfort food - perfect for a cold night! Really enjoyed the wings! So well seasoned with mix of herbs. Pierogis were tasty as well as the goulash. Did not like much the cabbage rolls.

My goulash was to die for and the 9 vodka’s I tried were out of this world. I’d highly recommend. The staff knew their stuff and spent the time explaining the different aspects of both food and drink. Highly recommend!

Loved all the food, which was very affordable with generous portion size. It’s worth noting that Polish food is not very photogenic in general if you’ve never had it before, but it tastes amazing. Staff were really friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and had high attention to detail. The frosted passion cocktail was so so delicious (if you like sweet cocktails). Highly recommend dining here and I will be coming back!!

Come hungry! Would definitely recommend booking a table ahead as this place can be quite busy any night of the week. Great, swift service and amazing food! Highly recommend the cabbage rolls and reuben chips. They also serve an assortment of cocktails and drinks aswell. Going back again soon!

Do not eat before coming here!! The food is delicious and there’s a lot of it! The perfect place for cold autumn/winter nights. The venue it’s self it super cute, very intimate, which makes it warm and cosy. The staff are lovely, very friendly and take the time to explain what each dish is.Food wise - wowza! The Dirty Reuben Fries, ANY of the Pierogi (Polish dumplings), Polish Sausage, Lamb Croquettes, and not forgetting the Cup of Polish Borsch, so good!!Oh and the cocktails are great too!
