I have had Foxtel for close on 25 years.I would give it 4 stars except for the standard channels that are on such a high repeat of the same shows. Going back 15 or so years ago there were great shows I'd be happy to see again. UK TV / Fox Classics /Sci Fi just a joke now. Thats why streaming is such good competition except Foxtel hardly seems to fight back. Surely those shows from 15-20 years ago a cheap to buy and add into their programming ? Sci Fi could do with those old b-grade movies , even black and white TV Shows - Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea , Superman and a pile of others from 50s/60s. Call it retro week/night or whatever. Same for UKTV ....Dinner Ladies , Last of the Summer Wine , Grace and Favour just of top of my head.

Pathetic! It's now 11 days after my order for TV and Broadband (package) and I still don't have any service. They've cancelled their technician (without any explanation) multiple times. The next time their technician is available is the 20th of this month -- almost 3 weeks after my initial order when they charged me for the service I am still yet to receive. This is unacceptable, Foxtel! In this day and age, waiting 3 weeks for service I've been charged for and not being informed of this outcome is unacceptable! At least 4 times this week I've been on the phone -- and it's to no avail. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY with Foxtel. The frustration simply isn't worth it!

I am a so called Diamond customer am still paying a ridiculous amount of money. I tried to cancel my service back in March. They promised a reduced rate and to be upgraded to new boxes to arrive the following week. It is now mid June !!! still no reduced rate (apparently this can't be done until the boxes arrive) and the boxes have not arrived (and nobody can tell me when they will arrive). THIS IS A JOKE AND THEY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU !! I just called to cancel again, and after going all through process again, they told me to call another number!!! Will certainly be taking this up with consumer affairs. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

The sales team lied to us and sent us unsolicited products we have to pay to return. Customer service non existent. Been with them over 20 years but we won’t be treated like this by some dying company with bad employees. Cancel Foxtel.

Have been a customer for years, and planning to quit. There is no customer service quality, foxtel fails to reward customer loyalty Now through a glitch " I have been billed multiple times and guess who I can talk to a BOT. I recommend to avoid at all costs."

I'd give zero stars if I could. Was a foxtel customer for over 20 years but during this time (particularly in recent years) their service has very much substantially declined. Nothing but constant repeats, cancelled shows and the list goes on. Service is horrible, and the IQ boxes always have issues to the point where you need to re-set it everytime and they constantly lag. Absolute rip off for what u get"So glad I cancelled

Foxtel cut off the cable service on Xmas six months before they were supposed to. Then the sales team (who we never wanted to speak to) kept harassing us and sent us an unsolicited new box for the non existent cable service. Now I have to pay to return a box I never asked for or wanted.The sales team were rude and clearly never understood the problem they just tried to push us into more products.Wouldn't change to the streaming version if you paid me. After over 20 years I'm cancelling Foxtel so I never have to be harassed by staff again.We'll be going to the ombudsman and ACCC about the early switch off and unsolicited sales products.

Having been forced to upgrade to an IQ5 , i am upset that the closed captions have no option to reduce or tailor them to the individual.. They are ridiculous, colorful and huge and totally intrusive. This greatly reduces the viewing pleasure of the deaf and hard of hearing. Please get your technical staff to address this annoying problem!

Ended my contract.Organised for their hardware to be picked up from my house. Courier did not show up. Was asked to rebook and then was told to drop off at a location - not my job.And they want to charge $300 for a non-return.Phone support told me to get in touch with courier company. Again - not my job. They could not escalate further up the chain to get resolved from their end.Absolutely appalling customer service.Off shore call centre where you can hardly understand their staff.Zero stars if it were possible.Edit: tentatively resolvedTwo (fruitless) online chats including a threat to charge them for not removing their property from my land as agreed.One twenty minute+ phonecall (wherein they tried to palm me off to the courier company to resolve) and repeatedly told me to re-book a drop-off) despite the fact that the original booking was for Foxtel to pick up.A supposedly powerless employee who explained that it was impossible" to elevate the issue up the chain to resolve and action the resolution.One strongly worded email to the courier company
