not the prettiest beach (due to some visible construction) but water is very nice, very quiet if you walk further to the corner towards Yarra bay beach. I love this place.

As with a lot of things, first impressions can be deceiving. The beach looks, as a lot of reviewers have commented, gorgeous. However, when we decided to take our trainers off and go for a paddle the reality hit home. I'm used to micro plastics and polystyrene on our beaches, but not chunks of a variety of glass, most of which seems to be from broken bottles. The amount over a section of about 20 yards that I checked was littered with pieces that would rip your soles apart. There should be a clear warning NOT to allow children on this beach.Why there's so much is another question???

Nice and relaxing beach facing west and therefore allowing you to sunbathe until the evening. Only downsides are that it usually gets very crowded on weekends and parking becomes a challenge.
