The Barossa Valley Chocolate Factory is definitely a hidden gem. Although Barossa Valley is known for wines, their chocolates are to die for!! The place is comforting and peaceful specially for kids.Coffee Review: 6/101. Mocha - I was expecting an breathtaking mocha experience since their main product is chocolate. But it was just OK.2. Cafe Latte - Good specially if you have a dessert.Food Review: 8/101. Pizza - I like that it's not filled with too much meat. Just the right amount of meat and cheese which makes it so good!2. Meat Platter - Nothing special. I wa expecting a good cheese that would match the cold cuts.

They have a fantastic chocolate making workshop during the school holidays. My kids absolutely loved it. Younger siblings were welcome. The lovely ladies facilitating did a great job. Well priced. Kids get a heap of quality chocolate and icecream.

We loved it here! Had a weekend in the Barossa, first day we did the wine and chocolate pairing.....great friendly and efficient staff and yes we purchased the pairing box. We loved it that much we went back the next day and had a snack in the cafe and brought home chocolate gifts. The venue is nice, spacious for prams, kids and they had a lake that was lovely settings.

We took our grandchildren to this gem in the heart of the Barossa. It was a wonderful setting and the dining facilities were great. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake was delightful on a warm day. The range of chocolates and ice-creams was terrific. Watching the chocolates being made was a feature. Staff were friendly and only too happy to please.

We visited barossa valley chocolate company during easter long weekend. It was a such a great experience for children, they enjoyed seeing how the chocolate is made into different shapes. As it was easter, they had so many options to choose from cute easter eggs to bunnies in different shapes. They even had a easter code cracker activity for children and had to find clues around the lake.Children were busy doing drawing whilst we waited for our food and coffee.I highly recommend to visit chocolate company while you are in barossa valley.

Fabulous place for chocolate lovers. Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley surrounded by beautiful vinyard. It is a chocolate factory & shop along with ice cream shop, cafe and wine tasting bar. Open factory shows you how they make their chocolate products. Barossa Chocolate Company not just offers chocolate, but also combinations of chocolate & coffee, chocolate & ice cream and even chocolate & wine! Wine tasting coupled with chocolate was an interesting experience. I like the little reservoir next to the shop and the outdoor setting. Great place to spend half a day. Although the chocolate was delicious and some unique chocolate was available, it was a bit pricey, and I didn't try the food from the Benni's cafe which quite a few people complained about on their review. However, I strongly recommend having wine & chocolate tasting from the wine bar. It is worth the money you pay.

A very disappointing experience and customer service is next to non.We had to find our own table, there was no acknowledgement. We had been waiting to be seated after quite some time.We then walked back up to the counter with a cake in a box asking if they could put it in the fridge, again- waiting to be acknowledged. We had to find our own menus and when we ordered, we attempted to do so via the QR code on the table however the app to order on was showing that most of the meals were unavailable. However, that wasn’t accurate. We had to ask for our table to be cleared as no one came around to do it. We had been waiting a while for this to occur as well. (More than half an hour at least). The cake was then bought out after asking for this with no plates, no knife to cut the cake with and no spoons. The cake was then cut with a bread knife and we ate the cake with forks.Just as we were leaving, a lady behind the counter asked if we had paid for the cake serving fee. At no point in time were we told there was a cake serving charge of $3.50 and there is nothing on your website about this either.A very disappointing experience. The customer service and efficiency is less than desirable.

Went because we were gifted a voucher. Glad we went. We didn't book but with a little wait even though they busy they fitted us in. Julie was so informative, relaxed and professional but friendly. Everyone should go. Previously, I've been for an ice-cream. Worth the journey.Well done Barossa, another great spot.

Nice setup with restaurant inside the chocolate place. Very spacious and clean. Overlooking a small pond and vineyard for you to enjoy the view while having your brunch or sipping your coffee or hot chocolate. Plenty of seats indoor as well as outdoor. There's ice-cream parlour too at the entrance. Very big parking area.

We had a BBQ pizza and some rocky road ice cream. The sweet potato chippies are a must. They were delicious. Our group bought a lot of the dark chocolate variety. The staff were courteous and very helpful. They were able to accommodate 17 of us during the Christmas holidays.
