First time using Maddington Storage and it was simply refreshing. Greeted by Paul and he was enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this business to anyone.

I had to move outve my rental due to my partner having kidney and heart failure and going home to Melbourne to be cared for by family. I had called the storage place next door which had a buy one month get one free. By error and because I had only that day to move my belongings and my mind was elsewhere due to my situation I fell off or it when the lady behind the desk told me with the expensive fees next door and they would likely charge me for a larger storage unit than needed. I believed her as I was exhausted and she seemed to be acting genuine. The next month came around and they told me if not paid do by the end of the month my stuff would go to Auction.I explained my situation and lack of money and no permanent place to live with no other options and no sympathy.My belongings fridge, washing machine, chest freezer, relatively expensive beautiful furniture, electronics, Tvs DVD player stereolarge blue tooth speaker.Linen unopened still in bags or doona covers sheets sets of towels cushion covers. Expensive an unique ornaments a an expensive Wright iron clothes rack with match bag stand. All my sentimental effects photos letters etc. All my clothes a cupboard full of shoes EVERYTHING.They sold every item I owned during the hardest time in my life for 300 odd dollars, I went into that office when I spoke to the lady in tears.Had I gone next door to Storage King like I intended and not talked out of it with rubbish I would've had the extra month to get the money together or find somewhere else for my stuff.Instead I lost everything don't have the items my partner who had passed way bought me.One or two of my items would of covered that pathetic $300 instead they used my grief and state of mind to steal everything I owned. It devastates me still to this day and alot of what they kept can't be replaced.You do not make money out of people going through tough miserable times without offering another option.I will never forgive these people for seeing dollar signs before me as a person and wonder how it is they live with themselves. I see things all the time that remind me of things I lost but can't afford to replace now.ALL I CAN SAY IS SHAME ON YOU!
