Woolworths Metro Coogee
A smaller store in the beachside surburb of coogee beach. But it has the essential stuffs you need to get. Only come here if I need my grocery run and I was in Coogee beach area.

Love this supermarket! It has all the essentials, very well stocked and the customer service is great! Parking is challenging so it’s definitely a good place for a nip in and nip out type scenario

I came into the store to do my weekly shopping and I asked a worker a question and she spoke to me very rudely her name was Freda. Also she spoke to another memeber of staff very rudely right in front of customer and other customers around were shocked. I will never be doing my shopping here again instead I will do it at Randwick.

It's a bit of a smaller Woolworths. The carpark is also very small. And crooked and just a pain to navigate. Much better to park outside.

Since when is paying $3 for a small bunch of coriander a “special”. Come on Woolies, we’re not that stupid. Generally the prices are well over what other supermarkets charge.Having said that I find the staff there lovely.

Hideous car park. Absolute puzzle to get in & out. Very bad design and layout. Dark, narrow & low roof. Also the floor not flat, dangerous for elderly to walk. No access for pedestrians from to the car park, you have to use fire door as public access which is another dangerous, darkish and bad stairs. Pay station is right towards exit. You have to buy from Woolworths to get free park. $10 for 1 Hour. $20 for 2 hours.

Wanted to say that Ricki is an absolute joy whenever we go in there. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and takes her role very seriously. She and her team are the reason we continue to shop at Woolies. Cheers

Have to admit I was really sceptical about the redesign but when I went in it looked a lot more open however I dislike the designated tobacco stand, cookies are very good thou, wouldn't recommend going here for fun but you should go here to buy groceries

UPDATED REVIEW: my original review was about the lack of space in this small Woolworths supermarket. However, they are currently renovating and opened up a whole new section just for the check out which has opened up the whole shop. It’s actually really perfect. You can now walk around the shop with a trolley more freely. They have a takeaway kiosk at the front of the shop with fresh sandwiches, pies, cakes and coffee. They have a brand new bakery with really tasty bread, rolls, pastries, etc. There is also free parking underneath for two hours with a receipt.

Just wanted to give a positive review to the lovely Ricki (hope I’ve spelt her name correctly) who made our coffee this morning. She was an absolute delight and super friendly :)
