Gawler Heritage Accommodation

Received a text to say the address was 12-14 Dundas Street that the accomadation. The photos on booking.com and air bnb looked amazing.only to find a block with old house. I messaged the lady to ask of I was at wrong house because there was rubbish everywhere and demolition building everywhere. She said it was the house. There was no way I would allow my parents to stay here. First the steps were pavers balancing on bricks to enter house then toilet and shower is outside the house. I was disgusted to see this accomadation was not only extremely dangerous but that none of the photos used for it were correct or represented how it was. I asked for it to be cancelled and meanwhile my elderly parents were stressed out so much over this I took plenty of photos and after speaking to the owner who basically said covid made it this way.blamed it on bookings.com for.photos being mucked up. I then found this on.air bnb that there are other property owned by sake.owner that used her own pics from another property for this address. Not a happy Jan came all the way from vistoria.and never have I faced such a bad experience..

I actually felt like I was staying as a guest in someone's home. Fresh bread and jams, fruit and yoghurt, cereals, coffee, tea selection and an actual litre of fresh milk instead of uht. Great for solo or couple, not suitable for families. Off street parking with police station right next door.Will stay again.

Very neat clean loved the style and plants...Bed was a little uncomfortable.Loved the choc and every little nic nak you need breaky was lovely .

Beautiful heritage building, tastefully refurbished and decorated into cosy but comfortable accommodation. Thoughtful touches by the owners made this a memorable stay for us. Host made it very easy to find and was great with communications.Wish we had stayed longer!
