Great team of professional people, Everything runs like clockwork at Someplace Else. Exceptional food with it's presentation, taste and flavour. The cocktails are right on point and suit the menu to a tee. All served up by knowledgeable friendly wait staff in a timely manner. I have read 1 or 2 bad reviews only, I can only question what did that customer do wrong to not enjoy :) . Make sure you book or you will miss out.

Waited for over one hour for a burger and chicken wings and fried squid , and at last they forgot one dish but when they served, they didn’t say anything

Ordered a lamb shank and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and the meat just fell off the bone. The Thai Caramelised wings is a must try as they were delicious as well. Very friendly service, highly recommend!

This place is 3.5 stars for me. It's cosy and the service was perfectly nice. The food was pretty pricey for what you get. It's Western food with some Japanese ingredients used and not exactly a fusion of two cuisines. My friends steaks were cooked really well and the corn with miso butter was really tasty. Overall, it's not bad but definitely one of the more expensive places to eat in the area.

After SomePlace Else was recommended by a local, we had a most delicious meal there. The service was fabulous with special mention of Noah, and also the young man with the fractured clavicle. We had a baby with us and were made to feel very welcome. The crispy pork bao was a favourite of our table. And we all loved the cocktails. Highly recommended.

This was a last minute booking so didn't know what to expect but it was AMAZING & our favourite restaurant so far in Falls Creek! The service was outstanding, very attentive & compliments specifically to Connor who really made our night great! We had the salmon sashimi, caramel chicken wings (best wings we've ever had) & the beef rib which was to die for. Our 7 year old had the child's chicken nuggets which he said was the best he ever had! Absolutely stunning food, service & ambiance! Highly recommend & look forward to returning again!!

We stumbled across this restaurant on our recent trip to falls. Modern decor, excellent bar, great music and brilliant food. It is clear the owners of the business are running it, as it has excellent service and attention to detail. Great with our kids, lots of gluten free options which one of our kids needs, and for those who live with allergies, it is a nut free restaurant. We had various baos, all delicious, slow cooked rib, pork belly and flounder. All was delicious. Highly recommend.

It was our last day at Falls Creek before we would head home to Melbourne the next day, so naturally we decided to eat out on the last night. Booked to eat here for our final evening and without a doubt the food was incredible!! Everything we ordered was an absolute delight! Service was also amazing, so great work and thanks to all the staff! If we ever return to Falls Creek, this will be our go-to dinner spot for sure! Would Highly recommend

Over the past eight days at Falls Creek we have ate at some excellent restaurants and experienced the bast Falls Creek had to offer, particularly from a culinary perspective. SomePlace Else was the pinnacle of dining at Falls Creek. The whole experience commanded this review.The flavours and the creations prepared in this kitchen are to be revered and enjoyed. If there was ever a team so talented that they can create this place for a short ski season at Falls Creek, then surely there is a vacancy for them SomePlace in Melbourne as a permanent and enduring restaurant.Highly recommended. More than once!
