When you have a 9 year old daughter that believes a cheeseburger happy meal is the best food money can buy, you tend to visit a reasonable amount of Macas stores. The Birkdale store is a gem. It isn't the food that makes the difference, let's face it normally it is the same everywhere. The layout of the store is open and roomy, the attitude of the staff is friendly and the service is accurate (and that is rare). Also the playground area is built inside the air conditioned building which means it is cleaner and cooler in summer. Overall, we enjoyed our little visit to this store.

Went in to the reasonably new store at Birkdale. It was a strange layout with a very bland colour scheme and seemed a bit dark.Decided to use the self-serve kiosk as you have to walk past them to get to the service register.The self-serve is pretty user-friendly and easy enough to navigate, but it didn't print out the recipe with the order number on it. This made it a little difficult to know when the order was ready.The staff seemed engaged enough but didn't go to any extent to ensure the orders were correct after telling them the self assist kiosk weren't printing dockets. Overall, it was clean and tidy enough and had a very new design with more of a cafe feel to the decor, and the food was typical of a maccas standard.

I ordered a salad. It came without seeds and about 3 pieces of tomato and chicken. I went back to ask about the seeds and the state of my salad. They said there were our of seeds and cherry tomatoes. I said no one told me when I ordered and she said ‘we don’t sell them’ I was confused if they didn’t have them or didn’t sell them? The girl at the window asked me ‘So what do you want me to do about it?’ Terrible service. Stop hiring 12 year old managers and get better services. $11 for a ‘salad’ really disappointing.

Went through drive through...told the girl at till window I needed to split payment $3 on card. She said that's fine but I need cash first. I said that's fine how much cash do you want as I hadn't been actually told Total. Wasn't concerned about paying cash first but me asking how much I needed to pay in cash seamed to confuse her. She kept saying I need cash first and I kept asking how much but she couldn't tell me. I ended up just driving off and went to hungry jacks. I was shocked that I confused her

There is not a single time McDonald’s Diane screw up on our order. This time they forgot any pickles and greenery in the burgers. Last time they were out of salad, before they forgot about our order at all!Sometimes I can understand if they are too busy, but this time we were almost the only visitors.Yeah, maybe management can remake the faulty stuff, but come on, something’s wrong every. Freaking. Time!

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too. No. Front of house whatsoever. Spent 5 minutes placing order in touch screen then it crashed. Went to non existent front of house and had to call out to kitchen for assistance. Other diners were also getting upset with no front of house staff, also yelling out to kitchen.Store was also dirty and we could barely find a clean seat to sit on.McDonald’s definitely gone down hill. Cost cutting clearly prominent here.

Holy where do I begin. Couldn’t even get our order right. The had the audacity to tell us we couldn’t fix our order. Then charged us $4 for a frozen coke. JHOW DATE THEY!!!!!!!!!worst maccas in Australia. Just make the effort and go to Capalaba. Won’t be trying again :(.Edit: still waiting for nuggets (it’s been 20 minutes.

For dietary reasons, I order 2 x hash browns + a sausage patty with cheese on it.Today I got cheese melted to the cardboard box…Plus I had to explain to the staff how to select the right options on their own menu so I don’t get ripped off.I can’t wait for Capalaba Macca’s to open back up.

Ordered a triple cheeseburger today, one bite and I had to spit it out. Every meat patty is covered in salt and pepper. If the salt and pepper shaker has spilled all over the food. Throw it out and start again. It is ridiculous that this food was actually sent out.
