Ten Dollar Town Motel

Just called in for a lemon squash. Friendly bar staff, great atmosphere, air conditioned. Loved it!

Centre of town, breakfast included, but have to go across the road to have breakfast. Friendly people older couple and maybe family operated. Good rooms, comfortable bed. great shower

After a long and tiring drive I pulled in here to ask about a room for the night - I got the last one; the family suite. The manager who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming. The place was full, indicating it's a popular motel. A free cooked breakfast was included in the tariff. A very substantial meal of bacon, eggs, toast, coffee, jams. More than enough! I didn't dine in the restaurant at night, but the menu looked appealing with very reasonable prices. The room itself was clean, but tired. I believe it is due for a full renovation within the month. I'll definitely be back!!

Very good standard for a country motel. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Rooms were well presented and clean. Breakfast was served at their cafe across the road which was better than expected. Kids loved the pancakes and we enjoyed the eggs, mushroom, and tomatoes on toast. Would stay here again.

Have stayed at this Motel previously without any issues, but this time we were allocated room 6.which should have been decommissioned. The carpet was extremely stained. The bathroom door was so swollen from moisture over a period of time you could not close the door to use the toilet in private This was extremely embarrassing as the other person would have to leave the room to allow for privacy. Lucky my husband & I are very small other wise you would have an issue with the extremely small bathroom also. Very old & dated motel for the price.

Been staying at the Ten Dollar Motel regularly for work and couldn’t recommend more. Friendly and accommodating owners, comfortable and clean rooms, and delicious food across the road with amazing service. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel is pretty much in the centre of town, then again everything is pretty much the centre of town in Gulgong. The hotel is great for a country town motel, the room is spacious and clean with all the amenities you want, we were in room 10 and could not fault it. Tv working great, appliances were fine, bed was warm, pillows were comfortable and above all the shower was hot with fantastic pressure. My only thing to suggest here is the fact that there was no floor mat in the room , we felt bad stepping in the room with wet shoes and we had to lay down paper towels to keep the room clean !!The customer service was great, Di was lovely during our stay, she was helpful with our queries and it was good to see her at the restaurant the next dayThe restaurant serves great food, your country style pub food which was divine.Overall we would love to stay in the place again if we return to Gulgong

It's not super modern but it is clean, comfortable and cozy. Where it excels is the quality of care given by the staff. After a long day traveling you are made to feel welcome. It's like visiting a friend's house. The breakfast choices are modern but I had the traditional bacon and eggs with freshly made coffee all served by genuine people with genuine smiles. Perfect way to start the day. I will by-pass others to make sure I stay here in the future.
