Amazing experience touring Lake Eyre and the Channel Country with Phillip. Was beautiful to see Lake Eyre almost full and seeing the location of the historic dig tree and cooper creek.

Not really nice but ok. There were cockroaches in the bathroom when we were there. Toilet had a bad smell when we checked in. Housekeeping issues maybe. But when we called the reception, they sent a girl to check immediately. So, that was impressive. She asked if we wanted to relocate to another room but, I was tired from our journey so we managed in the same room.

This day trip out over the Channel Country and Lake Eyre was the highlight of our recent outback trip. It was a fabulous experience, not to be missed. To see that green swathe running down the centre of this vast desert area, not to mention water in the Lake, was amazing. Thank you, Bailey, our pilot.

The flight from Longreach with Air Central West over the channel country and Lake Eyre was totally amazing. Leaving at sunrise and returning at sunset, the view of the meandering system of river channels was something not to be seen anywhere else in Australia, maybe even the world. Lake Eyre, an amazing Australian icon of a tourist destination should be on every tourist's bucket list. Well done Phil, the pilot and living encyclopedia of the area, and Lynn, the organiser.

My husband Tony and I are so very glad we took the brilliant one day return flight from Longreach with pilot Phil via Birdsville (morning tea), Lake Eyre, Innaminka (lunch), and the Burke and Wills Dig Tree (stop and explore) on Friday 16 September this year. The multi coloured Channel Country was stunning after recent good rains, very evocative of many Aboriginal paintings, a really breathtaking landscape. Phil's knowledge, love and enthusiasm for the country we flew over made for a great adventure, while Phil's wife Lyndel was terrific in helping get our flight off the ground". A truly unique experience not to be missed."

We went on this trip in July 2019. Visiting Lake Eyre has always been on my to do list and we were not disappointed. The trip was more amazing than i could have ever anticipated. The vastness of the Channel country, Lake Eyre s endless sky. We flew over dry dusty farms, veins of water surrounded by spreading green growth, pale blue and pink water and sky.The pilots were great, keeping us comfortable and very safe. I cant recommend this trip enough.

Had a fabulous day. We went on the one day Lake Eyre and Channel country tour. Phillip was the pilot and was very knowledgeable of the area. We flew through country we would otherwise never have seen. Enjoyed visiting Birdsville, innamincka and the Dig Tree. Highly recommend.
