Nice caf, didn't feel too crowded even during the tourist season (used to be a local.. Do I get a pass?). Food was a bit simple but it was still tasty and we were able to sit with our dog outside. Nice view.

There is a good range of tasty-sounding meals to choose from.We opted for the beef brisket rueben and the pulled pork cubano. The cubano was very tasty, but the rueben could have perhaps used a pickle or something to make things a bit more interesting - still quite yummy though!We appreciate a place that serves Asahi on tap, always a nice surprise. The view was quite pleasant as well, though the ground immediately outside is a little bare!I grabbed a coffee to go and greatly enjoyed it on our walk to the beach.

It was a very pleasent place to have breakfast. I had bacon and eggs plus flat white which was OK. It had a view of the lake as well which was a nice add on. Staff were very friendly....much as you expect these days.

Nice venue but a little basic. We went there a few yrs ago and it was a wonderful seafood restaurant. The chef & menu was excellent but this time around it was a little underwhelming.

Great service, very friendly and check during you meal to make sure everything is OK. Meals were served quickly. Everyone was very happy! We had bacon and eggs, the smoothie bowl, lemon meringue pancakes, coffees, juice and juice of the day. Everything was perfect! Will be back again.

Food was very nice but pricey. Also be vey careful as you will pay a tourist tax with your meal. Our meal was $63.00 for a breakfast for 2 adults 2 small children and then had to pay $7.00+ surcharge for paying via eftpos. That is approx. 10% even though the normal extra charge is 2.5% ( if you do pay ). It wasn't a public holiday or weekend so that left us with a sour taste. There was no visible display or verbal notice of the excessive charge. First time to Tuncurry and probably best to eat at Forster, better service and better prices.Updated ! We were told by the Staff that the additional charge was for using a card on eftpos not GST.

You can't beat The Deck for atmosphere, breakfast on the deck looking straight up the channel.We all had different meals, everyone was very happy with their choices but I think I won - savoury mince with roasted pumpkin and pita chips.We also had varying drinks - cappuccino, black tea and chai tea, all very good
