Just back from a trip half way around oz after putting a dobinsons gvm upgrade on my 2021 hilux, the trip included lorella springs and the gibb river road amongst other punishing outback tracks and I can honestly say the suspension has held up incredibly well, and to top it off today I dropped in to dobinsons unannounced and chris and the crew were more than happy to put my car on their hoist and give it a full check over and grease this sort of service go’s a long way and seems to be a lot harder to find these days. Thanks guys I love your work.

3 month review.Pros: Quality product with IMS shocks and raised springs. Ride is improved on and off road.Cons: some issues with installation (had to make 4 visits), raised height is different to what was advertised (I’ve got 60mm in the back instead of 45mm and it looks too tall - was told it should drop 10-15mm in the first 10 days but it’s dropped absolutely nothing in 3 months), and too firm in the rear (was told afterwards that I’d be better driving with 100kg in the back whereas I chose the springs to be comfy when empty which is my usual situation and I use airbags for when I load up for a big trip)

Had IMS upgrade to my 2018 amarok (steel bar and winch) The improvement to handling was so impressive. Across corrugated roads the car is sure footed and does not skate around. Even with a full tonne in the rear it is amazing. The team at Dandenong were great. Thanks guys!

Super happy with my buying experience from Dobinsons in Melbourne - i had contacted them several times for information. The team were both friendly, informative and helpful. Parts arrived in Hobart within days and freight was cheap.My main concern was that an aftermarket lift would detract from the ride quality of the vehicle. In fact it is even better than the original springs. The kit went in perfectly. I ordered extended brake lines as well but didn't need them - Dobinsons suggested that i return them and I would get a refund!Thanks Team! 5 stars and 100% recommendation from me!

I bought 4 suspensions and spring for my Duster. In two years time one spring broken and 3 suspensions broken. No intervention under warranty. Poor quality products certainly made in China

Recently had my suspension done and I must say upgrading to these have really made a big difference in my handling and performance on/off road. I couldn’t be happier.Also the guys at the store were really patient with me and helped me through my 100 questions haha.

Got a written quote at the 4x4 Outdoors show at Melbourne showgrounds on Sat 20 August for Airbagman system which would be $1600 fitted, minus the 10% show discount (est $1440). Monday l ring to arrange the install and got told the price would be an extra $800+ ($2,400, an extra $1k). I challenged them and was told they were busy at the show and made a mistake. Doubting my offered price the State Manager said he would discuss my quote with the guy l spoke with and would get back to me. I also rang and left a message with this guy and that's the last l heard of them both. This is my first time dealing with Dobinson's but very disappointed.
