Arnold's Swim Centre

I came to use the pool for the first time with my 16month old daughter and was given a very hostile reception when I arrived. The staff basically asked me why I was there and what I wanted to do even though I had previously called up to see if I could come in to use the pool. I just wanted to get my daughter in the pool and practice some swimming techniques as I don’t have a pool at home. Apparently this is not allowed and was told if we came back to do it again we would be asked to leave. So unless you are there to do lessons with your child, you are not welcome! The staff were very rude to me. They also charged me extra to pay with card as I didn’t have cash. I will never spend another dollar at this swimming center.

If you want your kids to learn how to swim in Newcastle then this is the place to go. All the teachers are excellent and great with kids.

It's great the ladies n men a friendly out the front desk, the swim teachers are great , the pools r nice n bathroom is clean

Arnold’s Swim Centre is a world class swim centre. They offer a wide variety of classes. Fantastic facilities. Staff are extremely experienced and knowledgeable not to mention great with children. From babies learn to swim, children, teens and adults, the results speak for themselves.

Great swim centre with attentive staff and competent coaches. Flexible class times and always willing to see if they can accommodate last minute changes to plans. Good seating for parents, vast array of confectionery for post lesson rewards...

Excellent staff teaching learning to swim classes, very patient and really good with the children. I would highly recommend this facity

A great place for your kids to learn to swim we love coming every week and seeing the little fella grow in confidence around the water. All the instructors are fantastic. Great atmosphere

Great man on service desk, friendly staff…however on our second time visiting the swim centre for our daughters 2nd swimming lesson 6 1/2 months oldWhist the staff lady was holding my daughter on the edge of the pool she was easily distracted she managed to say can your daughter ( then my daughter 6 1/2 months old has fallen back and hit her head on the glass panel before she finished saying sit up … on top of that the class did not have a teacher ready for the class so they had to get another person in to do the session making it start 10 minutes late and then it finished 5 minutes early so we ultimately got 15 minutes of classNow the man at the front was very apologetic said we could come for free the following week and would speak to the staff member but by then it’s too lateMy daughters safety is my priority and what if that was just cement behind her etc.Sorry for this review Arnold but it is what it is I hope the staff member has learned from this and from us leaving.I wish everyone a happy bright experience in the future at Arnold’s
