Barwon Valley Lodge

Where do you start?This place is magnificent.The doors lock, the water is hot, the beds are comfy. Ample parking. I didn’t get to use the tennis courts or the pool.Newly renovated kitchen has what you need (just wish the knives were sharper)Far enough from the city, to have peace and quiet, but close enough to the city and to Kardinia Park. Massive park across the road.Would definitely come here again !

What a spectacular lodge! Spent some time here with my family and can’t wait to return. The rooms are the most spacious and immaculate I’ve been in, and that’s with 2 kids in tow! Great location with everything within a 10-15 min drive or less. Owners are the nicest people you will come across. Thank you for the stay!

I've stayed along this line of accommodation a lot with my many trips to Geelong. Barwon Valley Lodge has been the best. Thought we'd go upmarket" this time as it's our first time without children in tow. Wish we had done it with kids now!!"

Just what we needed for a week! Clean, comfortable, well priced. All contact with staff was friendly and approachable.Will definitely be staying again!

Pros:- Great joint with an outdoor seating area, a backyard, spacious living space and separate dining.- The whole apartment looked like it had been recently steam cleaned because the carpet looked almost brand new!- Overall, very cleanly kept!- Location was great too - not right in the middle of the city, which gave them plenty of space for backyards for each apartment, a playground and a pond too!- Free parking available right outside rooms.Cons:- The carpet steam cleaning may not have been left to dry properly, so the apartment had a bit of a dank smell.- Air con didn't really work - it was just blowing air, rather than cooling even on 18 degrees.- Toilet flush had no pressure, so had to wait 20 mins between flushes, which is inconvenient when 4 people all need to go in the morning.

Absolutely awesome place to stay.Didn't get a chance to utilise outside amenities, as only stayed 1 night, so can only comment on the unit.Firstly wow!!! Very well furnished + very neat, clean, tidy. Also very spacious.Fully self contained unit.Kitchen with fridge, stove + even a dishwasher. Also had a clothes washer and dryer.Ooh and your very own Nespresso coffee machine.Reverse cycle aircons in every room + electric blankets on all beds for those ooh soo cold Geelong nights.Would be a superb place to stay for a family if you had the little ones in tow as well.

Very clean, nice locationMost important for me was being able to charge my EV at the end of the day each dayThey have 2 x Tesla fast chargersYou can drive straight to this accommodation with empty batteries, & no worries

Best place to stay in Geelong for a family. Beautifully presented units, clean and modern. The owners are very friendly and professional. Will definitely come back again!

What a wonderful stay at Barwon Valley Lodge! Set in spacious, lush green surrounds, it felt Iike a tranquil oasis with access to tennis court, swimming pool, bbq area. Our 2 year old loved the 2 playgrounds and seeing the ducks, birds in the pond. Our 2 bedroom apartment was modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Finally, service was exceptional, with great staff and super friendly owners. Highly recommend!
