Before we'd even made a decision to extend out unit, Melanie very kindly took the time to talk through what we were proposing to see whether it was even possible. My partner and I needed assistance to navigate a pre-planning request with our local council. We had previous unfortunate experiences with council on another issue (unrelated to us, related to our neighbors) and were fully expecting a difficult and lengthy experience. Having googled, shortlisted and spoken with several individuals/businesses offering planning support services, we eventually gave Melanie a go. Glad we did! She listened to our concerns, was generous with her time by phone and, crucially, took on board our feedback in the pre-submission phase. We are thrilled with the outcome and would not hesitate to engage again, or recommend to others.

Needed a council permit, so I reached out to Carli and Melanie at Change of Plan and I do not regret it. With there help and expertise, I was able to get the council approval I needed for my business and they made the entire process so easy for me to deal with. Don’t have a second thought, Change of plan (Melanie and Carli) will get the work done. I had a complex plan that needed planning approval from the council and knew it would take some time. Approached multiple Town planners, but all were too eager to set the deal without understanding the complexity. Change of plan gave very genuine inputs and professional recommendations, realistic time, and unforeseen situations that might arise and how to deal with them.
