She was more worried about whether my mask was on properly then hearing what I had to say. It’s been proven that those masks don’t protect u and of all people a doctor should know that! Sent me home to perform my own Pap smear!!! Yep it was a waste of time going there but I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for the displeasure.

I can’t believe how judged and not cared for I felt, the doctor I had very clearly hates her job and has no interest in being there. Not what I wanted in a doctor, I left feeling worse than when I walked in

First time at this practice with very short notice. Fantastic response in getting me in today after making a call this morning for an appointment.First rate staff, I have every confidence in this practice.

Great practise, Dr Fortune is amazing and very accommodating. Reception is good, however male receptionist very softly spoken and sometimes can't hear him on the phone

My first visit as soon as the female doctor found out that I had a mental condition of claustrophobia the look on her face that I was going to be far too hard for her was instant.And then that she told me she couldn’t prescribe me a tablet that I have been having for 14 yearsShe told me that she couldn’t be my doctorSo this was a complete waste of my time and would not recommend this medical practice to anybody.

Dr Fortune was very kind and patient, asked questions and listened to the answers , was very thorough and I was happy with the Dr and the practice as a whole

Reception very Covid conscious. Took our temps, masks essential. New pens.Doctor on time. Doctor Fortune very thorough and gives clear explanations of test results.Highly recommend!

Reception staff were lovely but the doctor didnt seem interested in what i had to say. Got tests and returned mostly all good but felt like i was just taking up their time and didn't offer any other advice besides what i already knew. I very rarely visit a doctor unless i am concerned so wasnt great for me. The stars are for the reception staff who were really great :)

I met the amazing Dr Chinwendu today and my experience was nothing short of amazing. She took time to thoroughly explain my test results in a way I understood. If you’re looking for a practice with great communication skills and sound understanding of the person-centred approach, Albion Park Rail Family Practice is definitely one of the best around town.

Shame on Albion Park Rail Family Practice. A close friend of mine with a history of Ovarian cancer has begun showing symptoms she previously experienced when going through her cancer. She went to this doctor today with a notepad of symptoms after about a month of convincing, and firstly she was met with a rude receptionist. This was followed by her appointment where she requested to get a pap smear along with some other tests. The doctor didn’t listen to any of her symptoms and told her that’s just what women go through on a daily. The doctor gave her one blood test form which stated her only symptom was bloating. This of course wasn’t the case and she was left feeling un heard, discouraged and let down by the practice. I’ve never been one to write these sort of posts but I know my friend and she is not one to over think her symptoms. I am really disappointed in this practice as my friend has been going through these symptoms for months and finally had the courage and bravery to see a doctor given her medical history, only to leave with crushed spirits and no answers.
