Very impressed with the service provided by Darren and Mel. They understood I had an older car and that I didn't need a shopping list of problems to fix - they focused on the key repairs that would keep the car safe and on the road. Pricing was good and they were upfront and honest. Highly recommended.

Darren at Urban Auto has been looking after our cars for a few years, after coming highly recommended by several friends. We are so happy with their transparency, prices and service. Highly recommended.

I hardly found a place that I thought can be trusted to leave my 2 cars for a long term looking after. All my friend told me it is very expensive to replace the engine mount for nearly $1000. Then I try to get a quote from BMW daisy hills today. And they quoted as: there are total of 2 engine mounts in my car and 1 for $292, the other part for $191 and total fittings labour is $325 which ended up total of $808. And I spend $559 for parts and $420 for labour at your place. I can’t believe that a local family mechanic charges that more than the BMW Workshop. It is really not only I paid $171 more and I upset. It is very disappointing and frustrating and broke my heart. As you know or everyone have car should know, it is very frustrating to find a trusted mechanic and it is very please if found one. I come to you as I trust what the google views and Darren and you are nice and warm welcomed.I am more disappointed by the responded like this. I came last time to ask for the price for the battery and you said will call me back for the price. But I did not receive any call about it and finally I have to change it at other place. I wait for the whole day for it, then I changed it to other next morning. And please , I did called you before I came. I usually do not like to do it on google. And I wrote an email to you and unfortunately get the answer like this. I never know you will adding up by all the hidden charges which you say is waived. I am not expected to get work done by free but not treat like this. I am not quite sure how the 4.9 reviews getting from. And you told me my car has 3 engine mounts which my car is only have 2 engine mounts.Hi Sam,Sorry you feel that way, the genuine parts we used are pretty much the same price as you got quoted from Mini in Daisy Hill, we also paid $30 air freight to get the parts in & you were only charged the list price. We also diagnosed your broken engine mounts for $60 that was refunded against the cost of your repairs. We also scanned your can on 2 occasions for free that usually cost $75 each time. We previously diagnosed your faulty battery & removed covers to take photographs to match up a replacement, you didn't return & decided to go else where ?You have been treated fairly charged as quoted , we have always tried to assist you every time you have dropped in unannounced. I'm sure Mini at Daisy Hill would of charged you to diagnose & scan your vehicle, I don't understand why I should be cheaper ?Best of luck in the future,Darren

I was new to Brisbane and looking for a car I could live out of, put a lot of KMS on, and do a little off roading in. Darren and his crew were incredibly professional, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly!I took three different cars I was seriously considering in to get them looked at, and each time the shop was welcoming and flexible. Darren and his team spent time with me throwing the cars up to look underneath, doing test drives, and running tests. They patiently answered all my questions and it was easy to tell they had a lot of experience and my best interest at heart, sharing their honest opinions when I'd brought in a car that wasn't a good fit (this included a couple dodgy roadworthy certificates!).I'm so grateful to Darren, Mel and everyone at Urban Autocare for a fantastic experience and great introduction to the Aussie way. The first car servicer that I feel like I can actually trust. When I took my car in, they were quick to point out that none of my services (in 120,000km) ever changed the cabin filter due to a unique workaround to reach it.Noted that I needed to change my battery and sure enough, a few weeks later it died. They jumpstarted my car for me, brought it in to the garage and replaced the battery, along with a discount since I had a service recently.Happy to have finally found a mechanic. Won't be looking for a new one anytime soon.
