Sony Centre

I've been using this store as my main supply of camera gear for a few years now and I recently purchased more equipment from them. All I can say is that they have always been responsive, helpful and really competitive on price. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. They've provided great advice on repairs to a system that was damaged in a fall and have been great at communicating status of orders. Exceptional service from Jun, Simon (the owner).

I love shopping here...As long as Ben is there to be my salesman! I've happily purchased over $10000 worth of sony gear with him and he always looks after me and sincerely values me as a customer.He's very knowledgeable about the whole sony range and is passionate about their products. I hope one day soon he becomes the manager of the store because he has the best attitude out of everyone there!

TV Is fine if it doesn’t break down - Customer Service is the WorstPlease read - Consider this before buying Sony product. You have to hope for the entire life of your Sony product (mine is TV), there is nothing wrong. Because mine had something wrong, and Sony takes weeks to ‘try and fix’. Need to wait for them to call you back and will not replace the product - MUST be repaired - no other option. NO OUTCOME. Useless Customer service has silly process that they can’t help at all. If you can live with a dead TV for a month hanging on your wall, then get a SONY TV (and/or other products). Your call - be prepared.

DO NOT BUY FROM SONY ONLINE. Awaiting order when purchased on Friday, they say they will ship the next business day. Logged into my account several times and the order is still processing on Tuesday evening??? Don't promise things that you can't deliver on. I thought buying direct from Sony would be seamless, but it isn't. Try anywhere else if they have the product in stock. Plus you will probably get the sale team to knock down the price.

On the Saturday the 6/01/2019 i bought a battery for my camera, it cost me $69 and was told i couldn't return it when purchasing, last Sunday the 13/01/19 i rang the store to find why i couldn't return it as i looked at the Sony return policy and their was nothing saying i couldn't return battery, i never received a phone call back from the store, on Monday the 14/01/2019 i rang Sony head office and they thought it was strange that i couldn't return the battery. Be careful when dealing with this store .A couple of days after the review, i received a message from the store to contact them which i did and spoke with Jun he was very helpful and was sorry to hear that some one at the store told me i couldn't return the battery, today 26/01/2019 i returned the battery and Jun severed me and again he was more than helpful, i took my camera in to show him what was going on, and it is the camera that is not working, not the battery and it would cost about $150 plus for someone to have a look, and now that smart phones take photos, i agreed with him it cheaper to buy a new one or just use your phone, i would go back again and give them another go.

Sony Offical store in Victoria is far but reliable. I wish the city venue was still open this place is to far took me 2.5hrs to get here, Overall the place looks clean, the customer service was polite and helpful. I order 128GB micro sd card on saturday and was assured to get it Tuesday but it came Monday super fast delivery. Jb Hi-Fi wouldn't get the product I desire so Sony was the option. I hope in the future that Sony can reopen a store in city or even Chadstone or highpoint shopping centre. Sony is the underdog and is way better then Apple and Samsung combined.

sony.com.au does not accept any return, even the box is not opened.I am very surprised when I have been told I cannot return a brand new un-opened box microphone purchased online. I will never buy from them again.

Our experience here was great,James showed us everything and let us test everything we were interested in.He told us what would work with what and once home everything synced up easily.Thank you!

Just been on the phone with man named Simon. Most helpful. I am not the most tech savvy person, he spent some time with me helping me find what I wanted to know. Best of all, he didn't try and sell me anything.I will keep this store, and Simon in mind for any future purchases

Sure, you can buy a TV from any franchised electronics retailer. However, I'm not sure you'll get the friendly and informative attention from staff that know what they are talking about and want to give you what you need, not just sell units.I would highly recommend to anyone looking to a new TV to check out the Sony Centre.
