A friend and I went in here. It was a week day. We where the only ones there, it was raining and the aboriginal waiter said it’s a quiet day going to be slow. We ordered a coffee each and she had the big breakfast and I had a eggs Benedict on a croissant. The coffee was very bitter30 mins go by and the waiter walked over and said sorry it’s taking so long the cookDidn’t get the order so we won’t be long. Well we waited over 30 mins for our food and my eggs where more like hard boiled eggs! It was awful I left most mine there. My friend ate hers because she is not fussy! I love good food I’m an amazing cook so I have such high expectations!

Truly awful breakfast. Poached eggs presented swimming in water and broken. Asked for a another one, same thing came back. Avo on toast was an embarrassment, Turkish pide coated in margarine, with avo slopped on top.

Consistency. That’s the key to great coffee. It isn’t good enough to be great some of the time but decent consistently always wins out.Plus check out how cute my “ugly” mug is! Discounts are provided for those who bring their own cups or you can borrow one of their “ugly” op shop ones. This is definitely a great place to grab my caffeine hit during work hours.

A friend and I attended the two donkeys due to convenience as it’s located under our hotel.We both ordered chicken burgers that had mayo in them and aioli on the side for the chips however, they arrived and there was no aioli.I told the waitress then she brought over tomato sauce instead as they were out of aioli.The burger itself was not enjoyable the chicken was dry - hard to eat and the mayo was missing from the burger. I took the chicken off and just ate it without after 3 bites.Coffee was not enjoyable nor the atmosphere as there was no music on so it was just quiet.Unfortunately my friend and I even had to go elsewhere to buy a drink and wash the taste of the burger out of our mouths.I don’t usually write reviews but I’m on holiday from Sydney and this was upsetting.

Cool cafe had the be at a specialist on Wickham street. Parked in the street behind and spotted this place. Thought I need a coffee after all that walking lol I orderd a large latte nice to see a tall glass tasted very nice well made funky decor inside. not often I get into Brisbane these days

Dropped in on Brisbane and found this cafe on the same street of my hotel for breakfast. Ordered the Smashed Avo and my colleague the Granola Bowl. Both were quite good and plentiful for the reasonable price charged. Off street parking was a bit of an issue but there are multi level parking complexes in the area. The staff was friendly. The service was quick and the cafe was clean and provided the right environment for early starters. Certainly recommend it for breakfast
