Vesper Tools

We recently used Vesper Tools to replace the lower guide on a beautiful old 38 LS Barker bandsaw. Chris' guide far exceeded the standards and performance of the original guide. We replaced the lower guide completely and for the top guide Chris adapted it to use his far superior thrust wheel and custom made some o2 steel guide blocks to suit. The price was absolutely reasonable for the precision work done. There is nowhere else in Australia that you are able to get work like this done on an old bandsaw. Fantastic service, Chris came around to look at my bandsaw as it wasn’t performing well at all. Backstory: quite a few other “knowledgeable” folk had looked at my bandsaw & said to me “oh you need to get a bigger one, this one won’t do the job”. So, I got Chris to have a look at it & within 30 seconds he’d diagnosed the problem! You get what you pay for & with Chris you get a vast amount of hands on experience & expertise. My bandsaw is a pleasure to use now & works very well. Also, I bought a mini square from Chris & I really don’t know how I managed to work without one! I use the Vesper mini square every day, its just perfect when making our Heritage Saw handles, checking for square & if anything isn’t flat.
