One Tree Hill Accommodation

A bit rough around the edges. Needs some tlc. Nearly hurt myself badly slipping in the shower as it doesn't drain properly. Fire was great but they only supplied 2 fire lighters. Awesome view and the bed was really comfortable.

The best weekend we've had as a family in a long time. Incredible views, great walks around the area, close to much that Wilsons Prom has to offer. I see that some reviewers have issues with the cleanliness, it was certainly good enough for us and didn't interfere with our enjoyment at all. One night we had extraordinary winds and we curled up by the fire. The next it was completely still, perfect for laying out on the deck to star gaze. Each morning was spent staring out over WIlson's Prom and the sea from our breakfast table. Utterly glorious! John our host was terrific and helped us with everything we needed.

We (4 adults and 1 baby) stayed for three days and two nights and used three and an half toilet paper rolls, because my wife was in period and there is no tissue available for kid and kitchen. We used all toilet paper rolls, includes using some for cleaning the whole place before we left. we took all the rubbish and empty the rubbish bin. The host John left an review in airbnb saying we stole their toilet paper rolls because toilet paper rolls hanger is empty, and ask us to return the toilet paper roll. We paid $720 and used three and half toilet paper roll. At the end we are toilet paper roll theft. I would like to remind all future customer, please bring your own toilet paper roll, otherwise you will be another toilet paper roll theft.

The view is amazing, but unfortunately the accommodation is not. We were on our honeymoon and really tried to remain positive about the whole experience, but sadly our stay was ruined by the property not being cleaned. Someone else’s hair all over the bathroom, cobwebs covering the filthy windows that ruined the view from the inside, and dishes stored in the cupboards that hadn’t been cleaned, were just some of the problems we encountered. We spent the first half hour of our stay vacuuming the place (with a provided vacuum) because of how dirty the floors were. The locks and blinds on some of the doors to the property were broken and a floorboard was sticking out. The bed however, was comfortable, there was plenty of firewood provided and as previously mentioned, the view is incredible. It’s such a shame, because this is a lovely area and the host really respected our privacy. I would recommend bringing a tent and camping if you want to experience the view, otherwise hopefully the place receives some TLC to bring it up to scratch.

Omg , what a beautiful and stunning place. !! Hidden gem close to Melbourne. We visited the place for 2 nights and booked accommodation directly through John. Such an amazing and lovely host, I wish we would have spent more time at the property. The views are to die for.. !!! Kitchen had all what your need, bedrooms nice and cosy. Living room with fireplace and 2 TVs !!.. Sit on deck like king and queen of the world and see how beautiful earth can be !.I definitely going again in Winters to use that fireplace !!

Wow! What an amazing place! Amazing views a full 360 degrees. You feel like you're on top of the world.John and his pal George (the dog) make for a warm welcome and leave you to it.We pitched a tent and took in the surrounds. We were also able to take our dogs and I'm pretty sure they loved being out and about too.Highly, highly recommend this place. A hidden gem that meets any expectations and certainly makes the impact of wanting to come back for sure.

Very nice place.Quality time can be spent here .That sunset... never get bored with that view.Highly recommend fly spray or something to keep the flys at bay. But did not detract from our stay.Went for walks around the area. Farmers are very friendly and locals are too. Very close to lots of places for day trips easy to get around.Highly recommend

The location is incredible. Views all over the bay.What we didn't like was how dirty it was. All the dishes we used had to be prewashed. The dishwasher had the last guests dishes in it. There were dirty underpants in the washing machine (not ours), the fridge had food 'juice type' stuff in it, there was an old cooked sausage in the microwave (no, I'm not kidding ), mould in the bathroom and the BBQ was so bad we abandoned our bbq plans.For $900 for 3 nights, you'd expect more.

Nice place to camp amazing 360 view.Host was nice and very informative. Recommended!
