We went to Sweetness for the first time on Friday night and it was incredible. The service was great, the food was delicious and of course, the location was breathtaking. Could not fault. The menu is so varied and reasonably priced for the portion size. 10/10 would recommend.Pictured: Calamari & Flake.

It was no accident that we lunched at this place, we'd been directed here by an article in the Guardian which listed it as a place to visit whilst in the area. As many others have said below, it doesn't disappoint. The squid salad (pictured) and the lime prawns were both delicious and reasonably priced. The place is a draw for visitors and locals alike so if you plan on visiting on a Saturday lunchtime like us then get there promptly at 12 before the masses arrive!

Extremely disappointed as had booked in advance - table was reserved but others took it. Nothing done by manager to resolve and no other tables. Always have had brilliant food there but won’t return. Understand the pressure and busy day and they were doing their best under the circumstances. I’m sure the staff are wonderful people. Just think that the people who didn’t book could have been asked nicely to move and wait for another table - not us stand there in limbo. We chose to leave in the end. Maybe they need to be clearer on when you book - you have the right to the table? Anyway, our country is burning so in comparison, it really doesn’t matter.

Boat Harbour is a jewel in Tasmania's crown. A beautiful spot & delightful restaurant. Boat Harbour is like driving into the Caribbean" says the Lonely Planet travel guide. Sweet ness at the sea is a delightfully decorated

I have had two disappointing experiences visiting this place. The first was when I found a long curly brown hair in my salad which I pointed out to the manager. His response was that can't be from here

Whenever we are in the vicinity we have to have a meal at this cafe! Once again today we weren't disappointed. Well prepared, fresh, large portion and well priced. Menu well planned . Staff once again extremely friendly and approachable. Clean amenities. Wheelchair accessible. Ideal for groups and families with small children.Got to be the best view in the northwest of TASMANIA. Heaps of parking. Worthwhile to visit and we will be back soon.

We had the cafe to ourselves in Boat Harbour. Sitting outside soaking up the stunning views.Excellent customer service from Nizar. He topped up my hot chocolate and my partners milkshake after we commented how good they were. Fish and Chips were delicious. Highly recommend Sweet Ness at the Sea

We happily drive from Burnie to Boat Harbour to have lunch at this amazing cafe. The staff are always bubbly and friendly and the view of the beach and surrounding rocky areas is absolutely stunning. Last visit, we ordered the calamari. The portion size is absolutely massive and cooked so well! No boot leather squid there!!! The salad was nice and fresh and the chips are AMAZING. The prices are more than fair for the amount of food on your plate!!!
