Shore therapy - Massage Centre, Remedial Massage, Acupuncture

Horrible massage, overly expensive, only treated one side of my back and when I asked if they were going to do the other they said “already done” and walked away.

If there was a way of giving this place less than one star then thats what I would do.Visited for cupping on Sunday 10/3/2019 at 1500.The therapist applied the cups and then left the room.Approximately 20 mins later she returned and removed the cups and then left the room and returned with the manager.I asked if everything was ok and was told “ stay there Sir, you are in a very bad way.”I asked what was wrong and was told to stay where I was and not to move.I kept asking what was wrong and was ignored the first half a dozen times and then was told that I had some “minor lumps, they are completely normal.”I was told that these are result of my body’s poor condition and not due to the cups being applied for too long or incorrectly.I was told that the lumps are not blisters but were toxins coming out of my body- image IMG 1048The therapist then was instructed to pop the hundred or so blisters with an acupuncture needle. I kept asking if the therapist was wearing gloves, she was not.I asked her to stop and put gloves on, only to be told that the practice didn’t have gloves!Then pawpaw liniment was applied to the now open wounds on my back.I was told to get my wife to apply pawpaw liniment every day, I explained that I live on my own and had no way of applying the liniment myself. She said to “ do my best”.By this stage I was in substantial pain and called Centre Management to find out where they were so I could make a complaint.I paid the $30, receipt attached, as I wanted proof that I had been at this practice.DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACEYOU WILL BE HURT AS I WASI HAVE STARTED LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.

Fantastic. Best remedial massage I’ve had in ages and I get them every few months. The therapist clearly knew what he was doing. They also have hicaps for insurance rebates if you tell them when you book.

I received the worst massage from Mia, a 'remedial massage therapist'. I requested her to reduce the pressure twice, and Mia declined and said that 'the pressure is good for you'. I am bruised and sore. When I complained to the front desk, they seemed to not care at all. Never going back there again!!

Just finished a massage there. Absolutely the worst massage by far. I am myself a massage therapist and I can tell she had no idea what she was doing. I asked her to go softer more than 3 times. She was pressing on my bones and I have such a stiff shoulder now.Please for your own safety, do not go here.

Mandy, a very experienced massage therapist left me feeling a whole lot better after a 1 hour remedial massge. Will be back again for sure. Covered by my Medibank insurance.

I have been suffering from migraines for years now and just recently started receiving acupuncture. Johnny is very professional and knowledgeable. The treatment I have received and continue to receive has been beyond amazing and I have noticed a huge improvement in my health. Everyone is so warm and friendly; I love going to visit the clinic.

I visited a lady by the name of Fiona and she did an incredible job with my remedial massage. I had been experiencing a tight lower back for quite some time and she helped to loosen things up. I felt much better after my session and the people in the practice were so friendly and helpful. I am not from this side of town but I want to come back here again. I highly recommend this place!
