Phil Gilbert Motor Group Service: Croydon (Toyota, Hyundai, Kia)

Car went in for a service and was damaged/scratched by someone who works there. We Had to wait for a courtesy car to have my car taken back in to get repaired.When I got my car back, it was filthy. Covered in paint overspray dust and white stains on seats. Very unprofessional and frustrating!

Initial check a month after new car purchase. Courteous and meticulous staff, who undertook the work promptly and efficiently. I was impressed by the clean and quiet reception area which provided free coffee and a clean work station area while waiting. Car was ready an hour earlier than expected, exceeding my expectations.Suggestions for improvement: Most dealers provide a drop off service to nearest train or transport link, and wash/vacumn the car. You could consider adding that to your service offering.Still a very solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Super easy service centre. Team were supportive and efficient. Very easy review of services including itemised bill of materials for acceptance of recommend work. Easy payment processing.

I want to give a quick feedback of my service yesterday. I'm very disappointed that after my Tyre was fixed the air pressure wasn't filled up. When I left and started driving it was only 25. I had to find a place fill the air. I think this is very unprofessional. And the rims were very dirty when I left. I don't expect u to clean my car but at least clean the stuff u put on the rim.

Worst Experience second time, ripped off the leather seats when visited for seats recall and handed over me the keys without informing! After highlighting no apology and handing me over another letter saying we have ordered new seats covers which doesnt have arrival timeline. Raised incident and formal complaint on it. Totally not Recommended!

So disappointed with thr lack of care and incompetence. I brought the car back 3x just to have a mud guard repaired, two of those times the part hadn't arrive and I wasn't informed. The steering is faulty and yet they say there's nothing wrong with it and suggest a wheel alignment, paid out of pocket when it's still under warrant (car is 12 months old). The key was faulty, they wanted to charge me $250 for a new key which I refused. 4 months of emailing and leaving voice messages for the service manager to follow up on issue with the car that needed immediate attention with no call back or email. Absolutely no communication. The back seat also was faulty and would collapse forward which meant we couldn't use the back row.The whole experience has been a disaster, warranty repairs always leave us with out of pocket expenses, and the service staff really couldn't care less, we just get told someone will be in touch. Very disappointed also with all the issues our brand new car has.

That time of year when the car needs a service and you’re dreading all the hassle of sorting it out!! Then you get a friendly reminder text from Phil Gilbert and from that moment on you’re in safe hands. Another year, another terrific experience. From the initial reminder text to booking the appointment, the mid service video update from under the car and the knowledge that a thorough job is being done with only the essentials being worked on I know I’m in good hands. Thanks team! And I love picking up a valeted car post the service. Nice touch which not all service centers do.

Post servicing, am facing issues with my car, the door goes on and off by itself multiple times before it is closed completely. Restarting the car after long halt/shutdown brings the AC to high, irrespective of what the setting is. Also wheel alignment was done but the car is being pulled to left.

Welfare checked and inspected with some hard work technicians. Management team and reception desk service has discriminated service, not friendly for wheel chair accessible elderly client.

Recently got the car and took it for a scheduled dealer service. A new experience for me as I’m used to face to face interaction with the person looking at the car. However the video summary I got during the day was a great idea. Happy with the service at Phil Gilbert Croydon, will go back again.
