Richmond Bridge
This bridge was well worth the visit while we were in Richmond. The stonework and detail was brilliant. There is lovey arches next to the water which you can walk through and there are parks either side of the bridge that you can stop for a picnic.

Engineering technology of yesterday is classic in this structure. It holds intrigue for those who want to look closely and not see it as not just a bridge. Construction happening to put in pathways on and around it is marvelous - well done constuction people.

As pretty as a picture! This gorgeous old stone bridge was built 200 years ago. We sat on the lush soft silky green grass and admired the view. Take a picnic and kick Off your shoes

Our final stop before heading home. Such a cute place to visit. Lots to see. Has Australia's oldest Catholic Church still holding mass and Australia's oldest bridge still in use. Really a must stop.

A look at the old days in 1800's with beautiful surrounding scenery and a small church up the hill for convicts. Thanks for keeping old monuments for young generations to see and appreciate how they had been built up. St John's Catholic Church and Richmond Bridge built in 1823 by convicts. Good to know.
