Jaycar Electronics

Started my venture at Eltham Jaycar looking for a pack of blade fuses. They had none in stock but Thomastown was showing 1 in stock. Eltham were very helpful and tried to call Thomastown but couldn't get through. It was about 20 mins out of my way to go to Thomastown so I went there and tried to call them on the way with no luck. Upon walking into the shop which I was the only customer in there I called the shop and the phone rang as it should and the 2 people standing right next to the phone ignored it. After finding out they don't have it in stock, one of the workers said I should have called ahead to which I answered Eltham Jaycar tried, I tried on the way and potential customers even called Eltham Jaycar asking if Thomastown was closed because they weren't answering their phone and I even tried in store when I got there and heard the phone ring and watched them ignore it. No apologies and didn't look like they even cared. Absolute joke for customer service.

Colin was absolutely lovely to deal with. Came in looking for a weird shaped battery and he helped me with enthusiasm! Really impressed with his customer service skills and even perked up my day with his cheerful personality. 100% will be back and recommend :)

Excellent service at Jaycar Thomastown,I had some problems with my new dashcam but their amazing staff assisted me greatly!They were very understanding & took the best care to solve the issue.I couldn't be happier with their service & my new Nextech dashcam on my CRX!They even included a goodie bag for the trouble!Highly recommend!

Had to get a HDMI splitter to resolve an issue with the new Fetch Mighty box. The guys were great, I had most of it sorted with some guidance and had to call back the next day. Tim helped me out over the phone to get everything working like it was before. Thank you guys, awesome customer service!

I am creating a model railroad and I required some assistance in connecting CDUs to transformers, wiring etc. Not being an electrical person I turned to Jaycar Thomastown for help. I visited Jaycar yesterday and met Brett at the shop and he was very helpful. He took time off his busy schedule to assist me and also find the right electrical gadgets I needed. Thank you Brett, you have a new customer who will now source all his electrical needs from Jaycar Thomastown only.

Went to buy a headlight for my car. They dont stick the! What kind of electrical car shop are they. Maybe change name to General electrical!

Jaycar Thomastown is always helpful and most times have exactly what I need even if I didn't know what I was actually looking for.Today Paris was an absolute star answering all my aloof questions and providing me with information and products to complete my projects.Timmy is also fantastic and patient with customers of all skill sets.Sahan is also very helpful and great to chat to about automotive things.5 stars to the Thomastown team!
