Purchased a very nice looking unit from retailer in Melbourne to the tune of $6000. A year later the wear from general use was much more apparent than I would expect from a sofa sold at this level. All cushions were warping and material had strong piling through contact areas. I might add that feather stuffing used was constantly dropping from all cushions (as detailed in another review), again, more so than I’d expect from a high end piece such as this.I did reach out and ask for assistance with reupholstering from Molmic and asked what it would cost me. The response I received was they were unable to assist me and advised I looked around for a reupholstering service on google.I hope this clarifies my rating.

We recently purchased the Ally with an Ottoman from Gallus & Rea Albury. We were so impressed with the range of styles and fabric, and the lounges are all of the highest quality. When you sit down on one, you can tell it is all Australian hardwood underneath. The range of colours is amazing. They come in a range of cozy, stylish colours. There is only one thing better than a Molmic lounge and that is the service at their Albury Stockist Gallus & Rea. I recommend you ask Adrian to show you through the Molmic range. You won't be disappointed.

18 years later and our 3 seater Molmic sofa bought new in 2004 for about $2500 is still fantastic and very comfortable. Hoping to update the fabric in the next year but the frame and springs are still as new.Worth paying the extra for a local manufacturer with a long history of quality.

Bought the Rydell through curious grace. Never get the Downe filled pillows. They are not Downe but small feathers that constantly poke you . Once a month during the fluffy hundreds of feathers come.out. see pic. Frame is 1 year old and creaks. One of the zips is broken and one pillow has a hole on the seam. Have contacted curious grace and sent pics but never heard back. The couch looked great when new but the constantly needs refreshing and the feathers are constantly poking into your skin.

I've had my Molmic purchased 19 years ago for $2500 and its in perfect condition. followed all manufacturers the upholstery instructions. A pleasure to sink into. the feather fillings have not popped out at all nor do these stick out. I'm planning to buy my additional one.. one more thing... the fabric has not lost its sheen or colour ! The spring on the base is as good as new !.

If you love feathers falling out at an unparalleled rate, please spend a fortune on these couches. The showroom appeal is very high. The at home reality is terrible and quite frankly needs addressing. If molmic invested in stronger fabric to contain the feathers, there would be no issues. It’s a real letdown.

I ordered my sofa through an interior designer on the 14/3/22 for $15,000.00. Molmic advised it would be here by the end of July to mid August. I have a housewarming/18th birthday coming up on the 9th September with family flying in from all over Australia to see our house after renovating for two years. I find out today that the sofa will not be ready until the end of September and there is nothing anyone can do about it. How can they get it so wrong? The sofa should have already been delivered and apparently it is not even made. This is so deceitful, lying to customers about delivery dates to secure the order. I would have went to another supplier if they had of told the truth with how long delivery would be - 6 months is ridiculous. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Poor form for an Australian Manufacturer. No wonder people buy from overseas.
