Had an amazing stay at Coolum Caprice. Close to everything. Fantastic views! We had a view of the mountains and the sea. Friendly staff at reception. No issues at all just had an amazing time. The apartment was spotless. Thank you to everyone at Coolum Caprice. We will be back!

Great location. Will definitely stay here again.Staff were really lovely.Good sized 2 bedroom apartment with a fabulous view.The only negative was the beds were very hard.

Weirdly hostile staff.We have been coming to the Caprice for over 20 years. I'm sorry to say that the quality of the service and attitude of reception staff and management has declined terribly.In recent years we have needed to hire mobility equipment that makes it possible for my parent to stay.When arranging the delivery of a piece of hired mobility equipment, Adele on reception refused to allow for its delivery until after we arrived. Lining up the timing of check in, our arrival and the delivery truck was very difficult.Both the delivery company and ourselves received the same resistance when trying to negotiate.  Similar aggressive attitude when checking out and arranging for collection of the chair.Making small accommodations for accessibility needs was met with hostility and an unwillingness to do the bare minimum. If you have any physical access needs, are aged or disabled or have any other needs that might be seen as a minor inconvenience,  I would suggest taking your hard earned money elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay - the location is excellent but the unit itself needed ALOT of work! We could see the ocean from the balcony, lounge room and bedroom which was great. We were in unit 9 on level 1 - great access to the lift and pool. The unit was spacious but it needed so much work. It desperately needed a repaint and the bedroom linen was atrocious - the owners need to replace it immediately. Not worth the $250 we paid for the night. Won’t be booking again.

Greatest view in Coolum. Close to restaurants and the public bus to get to Noosa. We had a newly renovated apartment and was amazing. The view is the best!!! Sunrises and watching the world go by. Enjoy the Caprice. We loved it!

Convenient to beach & shops. Bad traffic noise in north east facing apartment. No ceiling insulation so we heard everything from apartment above. Earplugs required to get to sleep. Cheaper and quieter apartments are available nearby.

6 Day stay here. This establishment seems to rely mostly on location. The apartment we booked was very different from the photos. Keep in mind, this fact was not mentioned at all on the website or when booking months ago. ’d noticed in other reviews this fact, but owners replies assured my group and I that an early booking would mean better rooms.It did not. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, the single beds drift on wheels and we had to place them on the floor for the duration of the stay. Many things just don’t work, lamps, bathrooms lights, air conditioning, and most of the appliances and dining ware have been here a long time. Many chips in glassware. One bathroom has a faucet that comes off.As a group we were willing to look past this. We wanted to just enjoy the rest of our holiday.As a group we intended to do split payments. This proved to be a terrible choice, this venue simply isn’t set up for splitting payments. If you’re booking as a group, just go elsewhere, please. Despite having all paid before checking in, we were harassed to provide a further $400+. We were out of the apartment at this point, but we’re relentlessly called for more money, lest one of the girls in our party be barred from entry. In the end, one of us had to cough up double her initial payment so we’d not be kicked out.Reception closes very early in the afternoon, meaning we couldn’t really sort things out in a timely manner. When we did go to reception, all with receipts and bank records, weNote that we are a group of young ladies between 17 and 18. We were respectful and quiet in the apartment, no parties, no loud music, no walking around at absurd hours. Simply a group of young ladies on holiday.Receptionist Adele spoke down to us whenever we spoke, even when we tried to bring the conversation to a civil conclusion. Instead of calling us aside in the lobby when needed for something, she literally screeched at us. So very rude, the staff here desperately need a refresher in customer service.Horrific treatment from appallingly tempered staff. I have never seen more childish and poorly behaved staff.When they finally checked their system and noticed we had indeed paid, we were screeched at to receive a refund. At last. Adele claimed we must have paid just that morning, so we all provided bank records for over a week prior. After accusing us of lying and doctoring records,No apologies, not even any explanation.Just a general lack of decency.Please go elsewhere if you’re travelling in a group, or if you’re a younger person, or value being respected.
