Staff at Tuggeranong not as friendly or helpful as other branches.They had a particular item showing in stocks on their website but got a gruff short and sharp response from staff when we enquired about it.Belconnon staff very helpful in contrast.

Had a very poor experience selling items. The female staff member became rude with me after I corrected her about an item she misidentified and was going to underpay me for and even after correcting her she refused to correctly identify the item and overpaid me instead. Additionally they failed to identify RAM sticks when their website has a single listing for 8 GB ddr4 2400mhz, which I even showed them, I was told it was dependent on brand. After being told to come back in 10 minutes twice after already waiting 20 minutes for them to test the electronics I just gave up and took back the RAM sticks. There was a general showing of incompetence and the way the staff addressed me after correcting their mistake is unacceptable in any line of work.

Great place for second hand phones, DVDs, and most things electronic. Unlike cash converters who are often rude and dishonest, CEX actually test their products to ascertain their prices and offer returns for any item found to be faulty.Cannot recommend highly enough!

Disappointing , unable to contact this shop directly, but the staff are always on the phone??? Im out of town hour drove into tuggers for a controller , got home low behold doesn’t work !! Better checking of products would save customers a lot of heart ache, my child has autism and couldn’t understand we couldn’t drive back in again he was extremely distraught !!!

Shopped here for the first time today, and the two staff that helped me with trading in my old switch and some other old tech for a new OLED switch, were so kind and helpful! They were there to answer all of my questions, and knew what they were talking about. I bought the boxed" version of the switch

And now a fourth time. You guys need to do stocktake. There's is clearly an issue with staff stealing the stockFor the third time in a row I have attempted to buy a bluray here and for the third time in a row I've been made to wait upto 20 minutes to be told they can't find the disc and can't sell the item to me. The staff almost seem relieved to not have to do anything. Other stores are wonderful and staff are excellent but the Tuggeranong staff are terrible and seem to have no idea that customers are what allow them to have a job Pointless sack em all get new ones, and only put out items you can actually sell

I have brought a pre owned xbox one controller and the wire that’s I came with dose not fit making me believe that they do not test there pre owned products before selling it so if you are going to buy anything with a wire make sure it fits before buying it

So many cool things here! Don't see many stores back in NZ that have older games like this so this was such a treat. This store is on my must visit list every time I visit Canberra. This time I picked up a couple of secondhand DS games at great prices. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend checking them out cause you never know what you'll find!

Never know what you'll find here. Rare old movies regularly can be bought for a dollar. Games for no longer supported consoles. Once found the entire Firefly set (movie and show) for $1. If you can't find it anywhere else, you can probably get it here for cheaper than you thought.

Used to say that this store was great to get games and older consoles from… don’t trust them to keep to their 2 year warranty on anything now. I got a Wii U from the mount gravatt store in QLD. the power supply died somehow on my move to Canberra. Tried to go in to see if I can get the power supply itself replaced as the Console works. You gotta hold it at a certain angle for it to get power using the cable it was sold with, the one I am trying to replace. Was told they wouldn’t do anything with it unless I have all of its accessories. I.e sensor bar, HDMI, gamepad charger, etc. they were trying to replace the console which WASN’T required! I don’t want to replace it. A replacement ISN’T required. Staff behind the desk gave me attitude once I said that I wasn’t trying to replace the console, just the power cable. I was told that the power cable failure was covered under the warranty
