Take the day off if you need to come in. Have to come in for a licence renewal which cannot be done online and there are at least 21 people ahead of me and there are other tickets jobs as well. Only 3 staff working an over a 2hr wait.

Had a very short wait.Was transferring my license from SA, the operator noticed that the system didn't have my motorcycle license and only car. She set me up to drive in QLD but also followed up with SA to fix the gab. 2 weeks later I had a new license issued that included both car and motorcycle. Was handled very quickly and smoothly.

Yesterday (Monday, 7th Feb), I had the privilege of being assisted by Peter at Counter 4 when I needed to change my interstate licence to a QLD one. A gentleman of the old school. A credit to this government department. They are very fortunate to have him.

The lady who renewed my driver's licence was the friendliest person I have ever met who worked for the state government. The security guard at the Charlotte St lobby was also very helpful when I initially couldn't find the right place. If only all bureaucracy was so easy to deal with!

Please do better maintenance on the Townsville Road Network. So many dirty concrete traffic islands and crash barriers looking gross, weeds, rusted old signage. For a so called first world developed country the road network is run down. Stop and maintain the aesthetics of the network for once.

Went there to get my learner's license earlier this week. I arrived around 1:30pm, so not many people there. Waiting time was around 15 minutes.The lady who helped me was very sweet & patient, efficient but not rushed. During the process, a woman came in who kept pacing around & talking to herself. The lady who assisted me made me feel comfortable & safe in that situation. Even as that happened, she took only 10-15 minutes to settle my license. She also congratulated me for getting the license.I've always been a bit wary when it comes to government service centres in a foreign country, but the lady showed me otherwise. Bless her heart :)

I went to the department of transport Charlotte St Brisbane today 23/12/22 at approximately 1:15 pm and I have unfortunate to have Tracy called my number T138. In my life I haven’t came across a disgusting person such as Tracy. Being unprofessional, insensitive, yelling rather than explaining or communicating, waiving her hands like a crazy person.This is the first time I had such a negative experience with the department. On the other department in Elizabeth st people are lolite professional and fast workers/ the opposite of Charlotte's - unfortunately

There is no public toilet. Im not sure it's common situation in Brisbane but it is hard to take it that no public toilet in public service place. People are nice.
