Tidda Counselling

Tulin has been a blessing for us. She is great at understanding the psychology behind the behaviour, also great at suggesting strategies to strengthen the attachment with our little one. Now with her help we feel more confident than ever, she is a very valuable and important part of our village.

Our son was diagnosed with Autism when he was 3 years old. Tulin has been very warm, very motherly and understanding. Our son is always looking forward to this session with Tulin. Since he started sessions with Tulin, we have seen a lot of progress and changes in his behaviour and development. He started to communicate better, play better, regulate his emotions and behaviour and communicate things in his mind to people around him. The best thing in bringing neurodivergent kids to therapies is that parents like us are also educated and helped us to know our kids more. We learned how to better communicate, help, assist them and play with them in a way that is enjoyable for them and that is best for both kids and us parents. This is therapeutic to us parents as worries for their future gradually diminishes and we can see a more better future for them, more independent, able to express themselves, learn different things, discover their interests and explore the world around them. Tulin has helped us understand our child better and how we can enjoy living and playing with him day by day.

Tulin and her team are awesome people!! Very welcoming and homely... My children are always looking forward for their Lego sessions. Tanya is also an excellent parent coach. We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Tidda Counselling.

My child has been visiting Tidda Counselling Play Therapy from past 7 months and the Lego Group Therapy Sessions from past 4 months. I can see a vast improvement in my child's Social Skills, Play Skills, Communication Skills, Vocabulary and showing more interest in wanting to engage and play with other kids. My child used to be introvert and barely spoke few words/phrases in public and I can see that change too. I am super happy with the progress I see ever since we joined Tidda. Our son attends Lego Group - he is always excited before the session starts! He enjoys making new friends and we have seen his behaviour improve in social settings. The team have been very supportive and easy to approach!

It’s not okay that you are using an Aboriginal word to promote your business, it’s not okay that your website uses your previous work with First Nations communities for clout.This is culturally unsafe. You need to tell community who gave you permission to use Tidda.You have been asked this before and declined to answer.Tidda is an Aboriginal word meaning sister and by using it your are misleading community with a false connection to First Nations community in the west.Please, explain.You can do the good work you do with children and young people without using a word that doesn’t belong to you as non-Indigenous person.

Tulin developed a warm and trusting relationship with my little one, who absolutely loved the play sessions. She provided us, as parents, with feedback sessions in which we were able to discuss how our daughter was responding to the sessions and ideas for home. We highly recommend Tulin.
