came in Friday night around 11:50pm, party of 2. didn't even get greeted, walked in and waited several minutes to be seated even though there were maybe 5 tables full. didn't even get seated by staff. we stood there at the sign waiting and about 6 staff were standing right behind the counter giggling and chatting. we were in ear shot and I could here a bunch of them laughing says who wants to seat them?"

i come in every now and then after work with my family. my parents and i love the food! it's a place that reminds me of my childhood and still has that nostalgia factor despite it being around for so long. the staff and service are filled with lovely and friendly people.i think sometimes customers forget that the staff are people too and that kindness and patience can go a long way :) my heart goes to the waiters/waitresses at the highpoint branch for being so lovely and attentive <3 definitely a favourite

I get a sugar overload every time I am here, there's no learning for me. Love the raspberry and rubarb pancake the most(previously the lemon and raspberry one they got rid of year's ago and I am still bitter) but strawberry pancakes with extra chocolate fudge sauce is always a great choice. The potatoes to share are a must.

The decision to review negatively doesn’t come easily to me but I feel I need to share my experience from Saturday morning. Service was pretty much non existent for the outdoor area (not just my table), I had to go inside and ask multiple times to place an order. I finally ordered and when my dish came out, it was wrong and missing the vegan ice cream. Also, two separate staff members tried to give me incorrect dishes that contained bacon and eggs when I had clearly ordered the vegan pancakes. When it came to eating my pancakes, they were awful. So crumbly and not like a pancake at all. The taste was okay but I expected more from the pancake professionals. I couldn’t even finish my dish. I love that you have vegan options but please put a little more effort into the batter and texture of the vegan pancakes. I can make them a thousand times better at home. I won’t be back. Again, sorry for the bad review but it really wasn’t a great experience.

I came here for brunch unplanned. The food is so yummy. I didn't rate it five stars because their hash brown was too salty and greasy. I have had hash brown in the past, and it was crunchy and perfectly salted and less oily.The yoghurt on the French toast was a little sour. It would have been better if served with ice cream instead.We waited for over 25 mins for our food to arrive. It was a busy morning.Overall, we enjoyed the food and the friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly, attentive and talkative. It sucks you can't customise the menu, eg. upgrade your pancakes for a sweet one and pay extra, many places in the US allow you to do this, it took us a while to figure out how to order. The food was greasy and the bacon not crispy at all, the pancake wasn't too bad, but not work the money, a breakfast for two people at Pancake parlour shouldn't set you back $100, this was without coffee. I recommend going for a snack, like the loaded fries, or just something sweet, and not savoury. As it's located in a shopping centre, there is parking everywhere. This place has been around since I was a child, and has been renovated a few times, so it must be doing something right.

Pancakes are always delicious here. My go to dessert ones are: IT, Tiramisu and Chocolate Jubilee.Tonight had the Chocolate Jubilee, fresh pancakes, fresh strawberries with delicious ice cream, yummm. Wish there was more pancake to it. Strawberry pancakes are a classic and tasted great. Swiss Mountain Malt drink was good.Went here on Mothers Day evening it was quite with the venue just about 50% full. There were a lot of staff, however not much service. Most stood around, had to wait to be seated while a crew of staff chit chatted and ignored us. At the table we had to hail someone for service as staff walked past numerous times with their blinkers on.My only overall nay, is the pancakes and servings have gotten a lot smaller than back in the day. Pancakes were so big, it was dessert was dinner! For the price point it can feel like you're not getting value for money, there are a lot of other delicious dessert options out there.

Multiple visits. Multiple mistakes. Really over it. From being over charged hundreds of dollars, never receiving food or getting the wrong food/sizes. Always a hassle to fix things and tonight is no exception. My group all finished their food and drinks before I ever received my food which was over a 40 minute wait. The excuse was they didnt have a plate.. Even after asking team members I still had to chase up and ask multiple people. If you can avoid it, take your money else where with the prices they charge!!
