Manning Park Leash Free Area
Fully fenced dog park now open (Nov 2022). Dog park has some trees for shade, benches, a bubbler and a dog bubbler (would be better if there was a dog bubbler/bowl inside the park, as having to take the dog out on a lead is a bit annoying). There is also a covered over seating area. The concrete path to the dog park is still under construction. Wish the gates had springs on them too so they automatically closed, but that's a minor issue. Considering the closest dog park used to be Huntlee, very happy this now exists.

No Fence, no poop bags. No water, except the water drain that had a sharp edge that dog could actually fall off.The grass had just been mown and the cuttings were all over the grass and are now all over our dog.And there is a clear sign stating dogs are to be kept on lead.However. We left our dog on lead and he had a wonderful time bouncing through.

It's great to finally have an enclosed area for the dogs.It has some nice shady trees, some spots to sit, and a covered area with a table and bench seat.Rest room would have been great.

Park is awesome.Minor improvement would be repositioning the water station on the inside of the park (or building a new one) for dogs to use whilst playing inside the fenced area.

Great facility for Cessnock. Well done council. A few obstacles, like a tunnel and jumps etc would be a great addition

Large fenced off leash area. Trees scattered throughout. Undercover area with x2 benches and x1 picnic table. Sandstone seats scattered throughout park. Drinking fountain outside of fenced area. No toilets available.
