Dog Friendly Beach - San Remo

I'm not a big fan of Philip Island as the quality of water in the ocean.However, this spot is amazing for kids, welcoming & clean water for swimming.Gladly we've found this beach at the end of the holiday (I've been Philip Island many times -_-)I saw many fishes there and definitely back, stay around this area.

Danger dangerous dogs. Local dog owners let their dogs loose on the walking tracks ignoring the rules and it is very dangerous for children. Also there are locals that discriminate against asians and tourists acting like they own the beach. Additionally they don’t wear masks and the breach COVID-19 social distancing laws approaching you to ask where you are from and breaking the 1.5 rule. I’m a local but treated poorly. Not a friendly place. Other locals also concerned as there are signs telling people to pick up their dogs waste. Sad really as it is a nice place. I have had 4 incidents were my family felt threatened and in danger. The police and council not much help as both offices not opened to walk ins.

One of the most underrated beaches in Victoria. Dog friendly and kid friendly its perfect for families with dogs. The cliffs that line the beach offer some shelter from the sun and the water is best when the tide is going out, exposing sand banks and shallows

Good or bad, the doggo is always happy when she gets to go off leash and off for a dip :)

Great little beach. Nice for the kids and the Dog. Note, dog need to be on a leash. Not a lot of beach area for flying kites etc.

A pleasantly quiet beach with great views and clear water. Fairly sheltered with shallow water to wade in.

Some dog owners need to be more responsible with their dogs behaviour. The steps down to beach are very overgrown needing a huge clean up.

Wild and nature little sand beach with multiple rocks giving the beach all it's character. Several stairs to go from the parking to the beach offering a nice view on this little bay. Lots of digs on the beach si remember that you are accountable of your dog and you should be able to master him/her at any time... For the well being of the community

I don't care about the beach. I care when dogs are off the leash while walking on trail tracks. They should be leashed because when two different dogs approach each other, it's a war out there. Dogs start to fight and their owners cannot restraint them. Who wants to put a leash on a fighting dog?

Great for dogs, lots of stairs though, so not very mobility friendly. Awesome aerial views though :)
