Hair Under The Stars

Had my hair perma straightened and I'm so happy with it. My hair still feels quite smooth and healthy. My hair stylist was very friendly and accommodating. Although, I would not recommend doing it if you have plans the same day because my hair stylist had to juggle between several customers and ended taking 5 hours.

They don't listen to you, they do their own thing. I asked for a haircut not too short and showed them my ID to give them an estimate of what I want and they proceed to do nothing like how I asked.What a waste of $15 my hair is ruined and I won't be going outside till it regrows to how I wanted it to look.If I could give 0 stars I would never going back here.

Got shiseido permanent straightening on friday, after 4hrs left a little worried it didnt work and caused more damage but i washed my hair today,(have to wait 72hrs before washing hair after shiseido) and am happy with the outcome. My hair is straight and looks good, minimum dryness and drying time with hair dryer cut in half. Good work guys, worth the 4hrs in the chair. Thankyou for taking the time to take your time doing the procedure, will definately be back in the future to get my roots re done.

I usually never leave reviews but I am doing this for your guys sake.I asked for a light trim and they started shaving my head. I cant make this up. My head looked like an egg after do which they denied doing anything wrong. The people rating it positively are very shady because I and countless other people have had the most atrocious experience there with multiple different barbers. I Left knowing I will never go backPlace is also dirty as hell. They never clean it.

Steven Zhang, the Manager, won the first prize for ladies hair cut in Shanghai before. All staff in the salon are very professional and easy going.

Came here on Saturday to get my hair permanently straightened and a treatment to lessen the dryness from the straightening. John did a great job and was very friendly. I normally don't chat much with my hairdresser but as permanent straightening is a very long process (took almost 4 hrs for me and my hair was only about 15 cms past my shoulders), I'm glad the small conversations made the event less boring. John also trimmed a bit of my hair after the straightening to make my hair look neater which was nice.I'm quite satisfied with the results. Unfortunately I did find the hair towards the end on my left side to be very dry and bit frizzy from the straightening. Apart from that, the rest of my hair looks great. I'll definitely come back in the future, and hopefully can give a 5 stars next time.

I.have been going there to have my hair done for a few years now.I have always been very pleased with the great service there.No appointment is required & it works well, for that Salon.It is very popular with all ages.I would highly recommend it to anyone.

been going here for a LONG time, the place is dirty and unsanitary, I've seen hair wedged in-between corners of the room, and uncleaned scissors.This one time I asked for a trim, they cut 75% of my hair, a day later my scalp was itching like hell.Besides that, the staff are very friendly. Good with kids.
