Such a beautiful salon space with amazing stylists! The team accommodated the hours we needed (they made an appointment time so my friend and I could go at the same time), and we felt pampered and gorgeous after we left! Definitely recommend Tao and Britt!

I live within walking distance of Tao Hair Lounge, and decided to try them over 12 months ago as my then beautician had a salon adjacent to Tao, and highly recommended them. I have been delighted with them; owner Kate is an excellent hairdresser and business operator, staff are welcoming, friendly and professional, salon is modern, bright and airy and overlooks Terrigal Esplanade (in the main shopping centre) and beach . The salon is beautifully appointed and only uses quality products; and clients are treated to a delicious range of teas, coffees, nougat and biscuits. Clients are rarely kept waiting for long and at the time of reviewing, Covid regulations are in place and adhered to. Most importantly, the skills of staff is evident - the results speak for themselves. I've tried numerous hairdressers since I moved to the Central Coast nearly 7 years ago, and Tao is definitely the best. Love their work!

Walked in without an appointment & was immediately scheduled for later that afternoon. The whole experience was lovely, including the care, cut, wash & result. Best hair experience I have had. Five-star.

In response to owner's reply: the texture of my hair was great before setting foot in your salon and it was horrible when I left. Your hairdresser CONFIRMED SHE USED ANTI-RESIDUE SHAMPOO when I asked her. Writing that I shop around trying to get discounts is incredibly insulting. Your current hairdresser Sammi knows me for 3 years now as I've been getting haircuts with her in 3 different salons since 2019. Ask her how many times I asked for a discount and she'll tell you I never did it. At her previous salon, Milk & Honey, I'd pay around $40 for a haircut; at yours, it costs $90 cause it comes with a free" wash. What a joke. Anyway

Very impressed with the quality of service at this salon. Was the only place I could book into same day and walked out with the perfect cut, toner and a head massage that borderline put me to sleep. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Also the brands they use are extremely sustainable and ethical big plus from me.

Going to TAO Hair Lounge is so much more than just getting a hair cut! As soon as you walk into the beautiful salon and you are welcomed by a relaxing essential oil head massage, you are in heaven! Kate has been my hair dresser for over 5 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else than the TAO team! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Had the most wonderful experience at this salon today. Called up very last minute for my 2 year olds first haircut. They said pop in straight away,did such a good job, my son looks so cute. They gave him treats, carried my pram up the stairs and went above and beyond! Will never go anywhere else after this to cut his hair;)! ❤️Superstars!
