Having lived in 4017 areas for 78% of my life and having attended Sandgate High School over 5o years ago, Jeay's Mitre 10 Sandgate has been the local hardware for a long time. The service and prioritising us, the customer, has only improved over the years. Jeays Mitre 10 Sandgate delivering and caring for clients first before profit.It has not been an easy twelve months for me or my daughter (carer). We struggled to understand how certain hardware things worked or what we needed; Troy was very kind and patient with us. the store, the gent at the counter called for Mikaela; this young lady was so bright, cheerful; both were very happy to offer assistance.Mikaela certainly made sure that there contact details were taken and that there was follow up; having asked Troy if he had spoken to us. This was very astute of Mikaela, to double check and remember us, we were not just another person walking into the store. We are people.Jeay's Mitre 10 has helped , enormously with information on products, high level of caring-community focused customer service and delivered the items to us in a very quick time frame.Not sure what else to say. A business only lasts as long at Jeays Mitre 10 because they show us they care for us, and in return we care and support them.If you want to be greeted, offered assistance, directed and/or shown items, to be provided customer support from team members who genuinely care about the customer, in Sandgate, this is the place to go. Even if you have are in hurry and /or having a challenging day or moment, let them know, they will be happy to give you space or offer help.They have helped us in the 4017 for years and there is definite reason for that; support the locals who support the local community.

Very friendly local hardware store. Reasonable prices and always seem to have what you need without being massive.Get with the loyalty program, I seem to have credits to spend every time i go in there, it's great.The team are always happy to be there and keen to help out.

Is the place to go if you are unsure what you require. Their staff are always available and very helpful to advise you what you require.

Mitre 10 needs to adopt a stock availability feature on their website. The last two times I've gone here to get something, there has been none available. Also, the staff should stop asking what they can help you with. You can help by keeping an eye on stock levels and refilling the shelves for a start. Not help me find where the item I'm looking for normally resides in the store.

Amazing and friendly team. I had a problem with the mower and I panic called them and the weekend supervisor helped me on the phone to temporarily fix it. When I told them that I don’t have the means to take back the mower from the shop they( Aaron and the Manager)immediately volunteered to deliver it to my home.They also assembled the mower for me. I would give them ten stars for the effort, friendly attitude and best customer service provided to me.

Great to see a small, family owned hardware store still operating. Apparently they are celebrating 100 years in business this year. I’m not a hardware type person, so getting lost in a huge Bunnings store doesn’t appeal to me. Today I dropped in to buy one of those big circular light bulbs. They have friendly staff and all the bits and pieces that people need.
