Faversham House
Richard and Nola are wonderful hosts and we had a great weekend at Faversham House. The breakfast was lovely, especially the warm home-cooked rhubarb.A lovely country manor. Look forward to staying there again soon.

Lovely historic house. Very comfortable beds. Great staircase. Nice breakfast. Love the history. Close to town and can walk to the towns three pubs.

Nice boutique hotel. Good staff. Quiet location. Rooms are compact and clean. Where they could do better: The continental breakfast feels like it's from one continent - and it's not Europe. The minimum you'd expect is croissants, a variety of bread, baguettes and maybe a few more spreads. A bit of sliced bread doesn't cut it for me. Though with so many great places to eat near by you could give the complimentary single continent continental a miss.

Interesting historic building. Guided tour at 9:15 am included if required.No TV, but WI-FI available.Lovely hosts and nice breakfast.

Faversham House
Visiting York due the Heritage Festival was an absolute treat. As York guests we were invited to Faversham House for a historical talk and received a great tour of the underground bunker! Hearing the history of the building was interesting and I felt lucky to see the beautiful glistening stone walls under ground.

Greatly enjoyed a 2 night stay at Faversham House. Stayed in the beautiful Mount Brown room. Amazingly well maintained and with a delicious breakfast cooked each morning by Nola.Thanks Nola and Richard (and Benji) for having us!Highly recommend!

Hubby surprised me for our Wedding Anniversary and it was the best suprise. Emerson was so lovely and shared so much history. We finished with a beautiful breakfast made by Emerson and Kim. Definitely gonna be regular guests.

We stayed here with some friends last weekend. This place is highly recommended and a must return for us. The hosts made our evening memorable. The rooms were pristine and meticulously clean. The Brekky was superb. It is 5 stars from us. We will be back in a couple of months.

Faversham House
We drove from Perth to York with friends to stay overnight at Faversham house which had been recommend to us. The property is beautiful and the family who run it are lovely. Nola and Richard were super helpful when I was planning the trip and were great fun and awesome hosts during our stay. The room was perfect and certainly had the Wow Factor. Breakfast was included and was great. The new family puppy, Benji, was adorable. We are already planning our next trip in November. Highly recommend this place, if not for the amazing venue, but just to meet these lovely people. Thanks for a memorable weekend guys.

Faversham House is a stately, lavish building located on expansive, picturesque grounds. The rooms are absolutely next level, far surpassing any other hotel room I have stayed in. They each have their individual charm, unique decor/style and are stunningly decorated with tasteful furnishings and amenities.The owners are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests' needs are accommodated. Luxurious additional extras that would make the stay more special for guests are offered spontaneously. During guests' stay at Faversham, they are treated to cosy evenings, complete with a nip of whisky, impromptu live guitar performances, and scintillating conversation with their hosts and other guests. Breakfast is a decadent experience with options for every palette and dietary requirement, and is served in a grand dining room.This accommodation truly is far more than a night or two in a hotel; it is a taste of historical decadence with modern luxuries and an experience guests will never forget!
