Very traditional Russian home made food. There isn't much choice but the food is nice, especially borsh and Russian dumplings!

Havent been here for many years but I attended a debut with a Russian Friend i used to.work with. I remember an awesome night, Lots of vodka, great food and dancing.

Went to watch the NSW Chess Championship

Great performance in Russian language and a yummy Russian food during the breaks.

One of my favourite drinking holes, the Russian club has served many in Strahfield their favourite beverages for the best part of half a century. A delightful find in the heart of Strathfield.

love coming to the Russian Club, its nice to relive my culture through food, dancing and overall atmosphere with the other people who i often see and catch up with.the market and cake sales are great.

WARNING THE RESTAURANT AT THIS PLACE HAS NO MENUS, THEREFORE YOU WILL NOT KNOW HOW MUCH THINGS ACTUALLY COST.It is hard to believe such poor standards in customer service actually exist. You would think being a first world country, such things only happen in developing nations or the movies. As soon as you walk in, you realise there is no waiter or waitress to greet you, there are no menus, and you need to ask the lady in the kitchen for what is available. We ended up ordering the suggested main course with pancakes, salmon and some other things on one small dish, costing 35 dollars in total. The lady told us this option came with pilmeni (Russian dumplings). After the main course the dumplings came out, and when it came time to pay, my husband ended up with a bill of 105 dollars?! The lady charged us 15 dollars each for a small plate of pilemni, and 5 dollars customer service fee! Ridiculous! They wanted to charge us 5 dollars for the pitiful service, which consisted of them bringing out the dishes? Not to mention they omitted the fact the pilmeni was an extra charge. I thought dodgy things like this only happened in my motherland of Russia.This place is a joke, I cannot stress how bad this place is. The lesson I learned is to never be a patron of a restaurant that has no menu. They could have alleged it was 200 dollars per plate for all we knew.

Pretty quiet here, but they have a fine selection of beers, and Pavel the bartender is awesome to hang out with. Try the restaurant and the little Russian shop in the same building.

Pleasant Russian place. Attended a theater play here. Everything was great but music was too loud.Russians like to show off and dress to impress. Esp women.Actually like all Eastern Europeans.However it's quicker to make friends with them than English culture influenced nations.I found Russians to be similar in cultural traits to Latinos.
