We had a lovely meal tonight, people were lovely, the food was excellent, and it's the first time in a long time I was enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, it was just a very comfortable environment thankyou, & music was on point. We will be making this our regular Deborah and Phil

This is a restaurant worth travelling for; whether it’s ten minutes away or an hour. Fresh homemade pasta, deep, rich sauces, perfectly cooked meet, local wines and reasonable prices (oh! And the risotto, the best!) make it one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne/Vic.

Can’t rate this place highly enough. Fantastic food and exceptional service. The Osso Buco is the best I’ve ever tasted but all the dishes are delicious. Even if you have to travel, do yourself a favour and go up and experience this place.

What a great resturaunt. Friendly service, really well thought out and tasty food. Worthy of another visit. Well done Karen Franco and staff on presenting us with a lovely night out. Not the most extensive menu but what was on offer was great. Loved that we were adked on booking if we had any dietary requirements…… not that we did but that you could cater for it if needed. In such a quiet country town is was a pleasant suprise to find such wholesome dining.

We arrived in Maldon after a 4 hr drive. Saw Franco's and thought why not, even though we were not dressed for the occasion. The owner and staff were wonderful, so welcoming.The food is amazing if only you were in South Australia.

If I could put 100 stars, I would!This is not our first visit to Franco’s, and it will not be our last.We were greeted by Karen who showed us to our table.As the weather is cool we decided to enjoy a local red wine, which was fabulous.Entrees were prawns and a lovely salad with goats cheese. Both were amazing.Mains were the bolognese pasta and the seafood pasta. Both outstanding.Desserts were tiramisu and pannacotta. Both delicious.We absolutely love Franco’s and will be back.

Four of us dined here - we found it noisy and difficult to have a conversation.The young waitress was inexperienced and in need of training in all areas of food drink and service.The lady, head of in front of house, was very pleasant but she needs to train her staff to meet the standards of the new establishment.The food was very good rating it 4 stars - everything we had was well presented and tasty. The drink list is limited - no light alcohol beers and no Italian wines!We had the Prawns x2 for entree and the Croquettes- mains we had Osso Bucca x2 Venison Tortolleni x2 plus Tiramisu shared large serve.The four of us said we would return but maybe in three months time when they’ve had time to brush up on the service.
