Cheetham Wetlands Observation Tower

No closing time. Just in road side if you avoid park parking. Nice view of Melbourne city.nice surroundings.

Very nice view when you get up to the observation deck. The shortest entrance actually from sunman drive instead of follow the Google maps. Around it has a nice walk path for walking.

Great views overlooking MElbourne cbd, the channel where ships can be observed coming into the bay the Westgate bridge which has so much history. On a clear day you can distinguish Melbourne’s tallest building and what was Melbourne’s tallest the eureka tower, Williamstown and the local refinery of Altona and Willy. Natural untouched wetlands where all kinds of birds depending on what time of the year you attend can be witnessed but most of all this is my place of peace and tranquillity. A place I go to clear my mind and escape the hassle and bustle of everyday life just to clear my mind. Another secret about this place is New Years fireworks the view is totally amazing. Go and check it out for yourself

Provides a great vantage point towards the Cityscape. I do travel regularly to this place and it's one of those places where you can get lost in nature. The flora and fauna is pretty unique and I find it fascinating.

Beautiful place, easy access by bike or walking. Wheelchair accessible to lower platform

well built tower. amazing view.

You can park the car end of the Homestead Road and walk to this point. it's 1.5 km walk.

Even on a windy morning this is an interesting view. The walk to wetlands is a welcome sight past the suburban area. Melbourne city in the distance and the bird song of the local Maggies

a lovely walk and beautiful view, it’s very peaceful here. Watch out during summer because there are snakes!!
