Neat Gearboxes

Where to start with Neat Gearboxes. My experience with Neat and the owner Sam has been nothing short of disappointing, upsetting and frankly being ripped off. Sam is not an honest business man and does not stick by his workmanship. I had a ppg dogbox built for my evo with Sam 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it, box was pulled out 4 times with the same dissapointing result. Sam has been the only one that has worked on the gearbox yet blames everyone else for his short comings. Sam did not want to help in anyway nor compensate me for his poor workman ship. In a constant back and forth with Sam regarding the gearbox, what was wrong with it and his shonky remediations he has refused to help.I took the box to a proper professional and within 2 weeks the issues were resolved.Save your money and go with a real professional. Sam is dishonest and his workmanship has become of the poorest quality.

Hayden and Sam were absolutely amazing to deal with. Complete gearbox rebuild and LSD install. Hayden provided me with updates every step of the way and I was well informed about everything that was going on. They made it easy for me as I was shipping the gearbox from from interstate. The turnaround times were quick, and the gearbox shifts and performs beautifully.

Great customer service from Sam, Hayden and the rest of the team. Very knowledgeable on what they offer and take the time to understand what you are willing to spend, what you'd like to achieve and the purpose/application.They also honoured the warranty that is provided with their builds when I had an issue with a gearbox build with no fuss and a quick turnaround which is very rare these days. Communication was pretty good throughout.The experience left nothing to be desired.

Left me in the dark for months regarding a ‘two week wait’ on a bearing kit that turned into 3 months of attempted communication before hearing back. I understand if they’re busy, but rather than saying ‘two weeks’ and taking months, I’d rather hear that it could take months and then best case scenario have it take two weeks.Ended up spending twice the amount and ordering it elsewhere. Received within 2 business days of ordering.

Neat gearboxes are a supplier for my workshop. The guys are full of knowledge and do really good work.
