Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to stay. Lots of wildlife and farm animals.Good camp kitchen and rooms are so nice and clean new built rooms and new bathroom for powered site are being built.Lovely view of the open land good for sunsets unfortunately it was over cast. So only just see parts of the sunset. Well go back.

Great authentic farm stay on an outback station. Watched the sun go down from the ranges then had a home cooked curry in the canteen. Lots of wildlife to see (be careful if you're driving at night) and a wonderful serenity.

Stayed here a year ago, just started using the google rating. I thought this place was great, it has all the amenities required for an outback station. It has a fenced camping / caravan area with camp kitchen. We used the runway for flying and really enjoyed our time here. There are ruins near by you can explore. Plenty to do here. Recommend this place.

Eldee Station is a beautiful place. Watching the colours on the hills change at sunset is wonderful. The people are welcoming and friendly and the facilities are very good. Easter Sunday evening festivities were a lot of fun.

I have had a long term association with Eldee Station. Since 2003 I have brought a class of third year university students to study geological mapping. Steven and Naomi have been extraordinary in their hospitality during this period. The station is also ideal for tourists that wish to have an outback experience and can cater for most needs. You can have a very comfortable stay in the renovated shearers quarters or you can rough it some very beautiful country. The landscape is amazing and the sunsets and sunrises never disappoint. If you and your family love 4WD's, or want to relax in a desert creek next to some beautiful gum trees, or go for a rugged bush walk - Eldee is the place for you.

This was a perfect place for country side camping lovers. The sunrise and sunset are scenic. The sky is damn clear, during the night you can see the Milky way and distant bright planets as well. You can also see plenty of kangaroos and Emu Birds around the station. Walking along the plains is like endless journey, I like that so much. It's a good place to families even to spend their weekend with children.

DON’T BOTHERNot sure what’s going on here but it’s not as good as they say or the awards they have won previously. A very disappointing stay. Place is dirty and needs a good clean. Yes it’s in the bush and yes it’s got lots of red dust but that’s not what I mean about dirty. Look past the red dirt and there is filthy toilets and showers. They get cleaned but not often enough, running out of toilet paper, hair, cobwebs, mould. Dirty bins. The website makes it sound like a haven in the bush. Far from it. Food is not worth the money they charge you, no freshly baked bread as they state on their over exaggerated website. There is no restaurant if you pay for food they bring you a plate with over cooked meat and soggy vegetables, no options, the pool is green along with the spa and collapsing.Host’s never to be seen. You arrive and try to guess where you go! Don’t bother complaining they won’t like it or help. No country warmth here. As from previous reviews the host will blame everyone else like the other guests, they were busy, someone was sick etc etc But going as far back as 2016 many of the bad reviews seem to be consistent. Some of the good reviews I believe are from family and friends not real guests. So many better options around also we have travelled the country free camping, other stations, caravan parks, hip camps, so we aren’t whingers, we haven’t had other complaints at other places just yours, you just shouldn’t be making people pay for this and misrepresenting what it actually is….your website is false

We had a great time here, despite being the only ones (middle of summer). Rudimentary amenities but just what you need. Great little camp kitchen. Good phone service, lots of wildlife and the cutest dog named Jess. Unexpected patch of soft green grass to camp on, a lovely surprise. Also a great surprise was the freezing cold pool in the shade.

Steve was very welcoming and was happy to help us when we needed anything. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had all we needed. Views were great and the meals were good honest country tucker. Would absolutely stay here again.
