Couldn’t go without leaving a review..Shane is one of the best mechanics in the area who takes pride in what he does, Shane went well out of his way to complete the work on my Landcruiser within a short time, the commitment he has to his customer’s satisfaction & the passion he has for his job will always keep me going back to SKR Mechanical..Thank you Shane for your honest work..

Shane came out to replace a 14mm nut that had fallen off a sway bar link… he did so with an impact driver which was not a good idea and continued to drive the bit until the end of the thread and stripped down the thread. He then then denied doing so even though I was there watching him do the job. Had I not checked his workmanship this could have ended badly on the road for me… in the end he promised a refund for the call out, no response after multiple attempts to resolve the issue. Would not recommend at all, ended up having to Uber to pick up the part and replace it myself on site on the day of the issue. ***DO NOT USE***Reply to Shane: No the bolt was not damaged I have before and after photos of what the bolt looked like. Any decent mechanic would know not to keep driving the nut on with an impact driver especially when you can see metal flakes coming from the bolt. Typical person not being accountable, you are lucky that I was there watching you do the job hence why I double checked your work after you left. I should have known when you rocked up in a beat up hatch back with no tools but a drill and replacement nut you weren't qualified to do the job. would have been cheaper to uber to Supercheap to get the replacement nut and do it myself which i did in the end after your dodgy workmanship.

Have been getting my vehicles serviced by Shane for few years and cannot be more thankful for his knowledge of cars and help he's provided and recommend coming here for genuine fair professional work done, I live down on the Gold coast and will come back for future services . Shane did a wonderful job replacing all 4 sets of disk brakes and honed the rotors.Very happy no more shudders or brake dust
