We have brought a few lovely cars through performance automobiles and have always had excellent service and served with a smile! This is our number 1 car dealership in the state!

I was keen to test drive a GWM Cannon. When i arrived at the dealership, I was met by Allan who I found to be welcoming, friendly and polite. He had a helpful and relaxed manner and was very easy to deal with. After a thorough briefing i took the vehicle for a drive and was very impressed. I was offered a trade in on my vehicle that was very reasonable, so i decided to purchase the Cannon. The whole process was professional and relaxed throughout. I even secured finance and insurance at the same time. I would thoroughly recommend Performance Automobiles and will definitely return, when it's time to upgrade my vehicle.

I bought a used car from PA (not a Subaru) in May 2020 and found Nathan more than accommodating. I would recommend him. The car came with a 3-month statutory warranty and a 3 year customer care plan. After settling, I noticed some issues present that were not evident during the test drives. I was referred onto their service section who more than looked after me. The issue required them to research and learn about another model car in order to resolve. It turned out to be a very specific issue to this particular make, model and year. I found the local dealer of this brand to be nonchalant in my dealings with them to identify the issue.A huge thank you to Phil and his team and especially Brett in dealing with this. At all stages they were honest and accommodating and went above and beyond what one would expect. They have never shirked their legal responsibilities and have impressed me with their willingness to assist and the ease of engaging with them. We now believe the issue is resolved, and at no cost to me. Whilst the issue was resolved outside of the 3 month statutory warranty they assured me that would honor this until such time as the issue was rectified. How good is that.This is a fantastic company and I would highly recommend their services to anyone interested in purchasing a car or requiring ongoing service. I find it difficult to believe some of the poor reviews that I have read about this company.

Poor customer service, rude and had a very poor experience looking at cars through performance automobiles. Was looking at a GWM and was told to pay $1000 to look at the car in the colour we were after. Different standards and attitudes between age groups and demographics from other family members looking at the cars. Pricing uncompetitive compared to mainland and bringing a car over on the Spirit.

Everytime I go into the Porsche center the grey haired salesman gets a phone call ( usually from the Volvo salesman across the floor) today he bolted next door to the Mercedes shop .. as funny as I find that, it don't happen in any other Porsche Center in the country...Everyone is a potential sale.

Strongly recommend Subaru (we dealt with Bryn). We had a terrible experience elsewhere and the minute we walked into Subaru we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent customer service, we were continuously kept informed and up to date and they said they’d have us a vehicle in 3 months and they did. We are very happy and would def go through them in the future.

We have to wait more than a month book a date even for customers holds warranty and cap price service. Unprofessional receptionists. They don’t know how to talk to customers how valuable even single customer. Never recommend subaru hobart and their service center which they called performance automobiles. I am gonna make a complaint to subaru Australia too about their dealership coz there is no point if they can’t provide a service on time for people who hold the warranty.

Always great service from both, service and sales team! Quick to get back on any issues and vehicles always returned clean and tidy.

Such an unprofessional staff at Subaru Hobart. When I first took my car there they took around 10-12 days to fix it and car again had same issue it’s been 14 days no one even touched it. Service manager is so arrogant, rude and angry. Doesn’t even know how to talk with customer. He gave excuse that his technician is on annual leave. Looks like workshop got only one technician. Poor customer service, poor behaviour. They talk a lot on websites about moral, customer satisfaction but in reality they’re bunch of looser.
